Walked up to Hotel Vegas and Black Midi was performing, so got a second trip with them, this time on the outside stage. Fucking killed it again. I was side stage so seeing the audience's jaws drop at certain parts was great. Drummer at one point knocked over his floor tom and improvised the rest of the song without it. Honestly may try and see them a third time on Wednesday.
Oh Sees did what they do. Comedians opened for them. Stand up at concerts is awkward. Sailor Poon, Otis the Destroyer and Amplified Heat are Austin bands worth seeing. Especially Sailor Poon. Space Heat or whatever we saw while my friend charged their phone was not too good but they seem like nice people.
FLOODfest with Broken Social Scene, White Denim, and Haelos was a rad event. I wish i had done the vr thing they had setup but the line was long.
He also kicked ass the 2 times I saw Prophets and when he played with Ozzy, Slash and Geezer Butler at Voodoo 2015. Atlas underground was a little bit of a letdown but the whole album doesn’t suck.
