At this point I feel like they either:
A) Lost a headliner and furiously trying to replace B) Just doing the whole line up in one shot C) Waiting for the headliner to announce dates.
I'm leaning C. My heart wants it to be Robyn but my head is saying Tyler, The Creator. Also found it interesting they added Cardi B to Music Midtown right before tickets went on sale.
Initial lineup announcement should happen tomorrow.
Has the headliner been guessed yet or way off base. E: not looking for a name, just if it's been guessed.
Also, thanks for the heads up.
TBH - I don't know the whole lineup, just a handful that were on the lineup. Someone did tell me that they thought Phantogram was a strong possibility. I don't know if anything has changed since I got my info, which could be the case, but one of the headliners may be someone that has headlined before (which is disappointing - same way I felt about Flaming Lips playing again)
I know that yesterday they were supposed to make an announcement that the initial lineup would come today but I never saw anything on social media so if not today, sometime this week.

They've been active the past 24 hours, so I'm assuming we're close. The updated ticket page says the 23rd so it should be within the next few days, at latest.

Pretty excited for the Plaza and Red Hat shows. Don't know a lot about the rest of the lineup so I'll have some digging to do.
Pretty interesting from the website
For our 10 year anniversary we have decided to bring back a tradition from the early days of Hopscotch — artist curated bills. This year we have asked 10 North Carolina artists to curate bills across the weekend including Little Brother, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Birds of Avalon, Nest Egg, Resonancy, No Love, Solar Halos, Museum Mouth, Crowmeat Bob, and Gudiya. Full artist curated bills will be announced throughout the summer.

Where are you seeing that on their site? Sorry if it's obvious, I'm just missing it.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
If I get a new job before this happens, I'm in. I like the lineup a ton and have never been to NC.
Raleigh doesn't disappoint. Pro tip: Eat very little a few days before you go. The chicken + waffles are plentiful there.
That's weird you mention that because I was just disowning my girlfriend yesterday for never having tried chicken & waffles. We are a lock now and she can come back.

I have a list of restaurants that I hit after the day parties and before the headliner shows.
