Out of everyone I know, I think you'd be stoked on the daytime activities, too. They change stuff up from time to time and I can't be certain but they usually do a Saturday block party where people hock homemade goods. It's the part that Mrs GL gets excited and the reason for her return this year.
I won't be there but I'm happy Raleigh is getting another Sleater-Kinney since the show on their initial reunion run was at the worst sounding venue on the planet(The Ritz).

Interesting, could see this being a good show but it's a little more country than I usually go for. Would probably check this show if the timeslot works.
I'm sure that won't affect the show but still sad to see.
Came here to share this. I wasn't blown away by the new single, seems like Janet might not have been either... That sucks. She really is a great drummer, got to see her with the Sea Lice and she holds it down. Hope they find a proper replacement and she keeps working.
That would make a lot of sense, imo. Janet is a power house that not too many people are gonna be able to just fill a spot for. Sara would be a great choice. I think she also used to drum for The Corin Tucker Band so it's not like they don't have her number.
Heads up in case anyone didn't notice (bc it is only listed right now on the individual ticket details)...the Little Brother/Raphael Saadiq show at City Plaza on Saturday starts at 2pm. Supposedly they didn't want that show and the Red Hat show to overlap but it kinda sucks bc it really screws with everyone's day party shows.
