Agreed, don't think Plastikman needs special counter programming in the Yuma. If you want to though, whatever the popular tech house act on that day is would work.
Give me some of these lower level electronic acts - Kiasmos, Weval, Project Pablo, Mall Grab, Krystak Klear, Prospa, Octa Octa, Icarus, Marquis Hawkes, Daniel Avery, Baltra, Joe Goddard, Christian Löffler, Kornél Kovács, Prins Thomas, Lauer, Finn, Skatebård, Polynation, Fort Romeau, Throwing Snow, French 79, HNNY, Brame & Hamo, Detroit Swindle, Bondax, Leon Vynehall, Moomin, DJ Boring, Channel Tres, L'Impératrice, Peggy Gou, Against All Logic, Káryyn, Apparat, Lindstrøm, Maribou State, Yuksek
Palms Trax
Him in the DJ Seinfeld slot at the Do Lab would be excellent
Probably outrageous and totally incorrect early predictions:
The Black Keys Flume • Madonna • A$AP Rocky • Basement Jaxx • Foals • Run the Jewels
Certainly outrageous and incorrect. Yeah I know she's done it before but she'd be arguably the most expensive act on the poster even with T-Swift.
With that being said I can never help myself from overbilling my own fakes. Mikey already gently scolded me that my headliners and subs are too strong but I ain't changing shit.
No way in hell Goldenvoice books Black keys after this new flop of a tour.
Wow, I had no clue it was selling that badly. Only a few sections sold out in my town, then I look at other venues and see that it’s actually selling well here in comparison. That’s embarrassing and worse than the Arcade Fire fiasco.

Forum prices were ridiculously high...not sure about other markets. We're opting to see them at LIB instead.
I didn't realize Turnstile was a similar level to those other acts, in that case maybe something like Bikini Kill but they might want to highlight them more.
Sorry don't get me wrong - wouldn't put Turnstile at the prestige level of that type of act. More of a mood I'm aiming for with a specific slot. Think if Bikini Kill would have happened it'd be this year.
Basement's gotta play one of these years. Check them out - they're probably the type of band you are looking for.
Citizen is also Will Yip produced (Turnover and Turnstile producer) and probably a good candidate to play next album cycle.
PUP will probably get the "blew up on their last album, and play to the end of the cycle on it" type thing that Shame/Hop Along got this year, Priests, last year, etc. (PUP is much bigger than those names - I actually see them playing like ~4 PM outdoor potentially).
I'm also hopeful this is finally the year of The Menzingers since they are nearly done with their new record.

The fact PUP and Basement weren’t already booked in the past couple years is baffling. Quality, cheap rock acts have filled out the bottom lines quite a bit with the Sonora around and those seem like two no brainers.. Basement would be great in there still.

Other than the last Radiohead tour, every arena act here has a pretty high price tag. The Black Keys should probably have gone with amphitheater’s though, I don’t know anyone clamoring for new music out of them.

Prices in the midwest are $100-160 (before fees) for anything lower level. Looks like maybe 25% of the tickets have sold. I saw them at the same arena in 2013 for $60 (including fees) for GA floor. They tried to cash grab, fuck them.
Given that her last album cycle ended with a lot of cancelled tour dates and controversy surrounding her 6ix9ine collaboration, even given her “Feeling Myself” video or whatever I’d be very surprised if Nicki played this festival at all.

Black Keys tickets are dropping to 20 bucks tomorrow here from that live nation promotion. The only other Arena show on that list here is the Chainsmokers show. Another group who doesn’t seem to get market demand.

Ticket prices were insane, also modest mouse can’t be a cheap opener.
Remember when The Chainsmokers were "supposed to headline"?
Yes and I also remember when Phoenix headlined.
Not to start a 3-page cat fight, but given Tame is 7th on ACL's lineup, I wonder if they were subbing next year and got the bump up to headliner when they agreed to push forward. Certainly sounds like a headliner worthy set from those who were there, but Phoenix's actual *set* also was great in 2013.
