Not sure how realistic it is we get both Adele and Rihanna in the same year but I'm all for it. Cardi B into Rihanna would be absolutely nuts, that crowd would be a spectacle. I'm not a huge fan of either but that would be really fun, Cardi party into Rihanna.
Don't think Lil Dicky nor Blueface are 3rd line acts, not sure they'd be booked either. Same with Bhad Bhabie. I know we've gotten Cardi B because of her popular she is but Coachella doesn't seem to book.. "meme"ish rappers like Lil Dicky and Bhad Bhabie and neither are that huge. Thinking we get Isaiah Rashad, think Lil Uzi returns. Maybe Denzel Curry too.
Don't be shocked to see Two Door Cinema Club play again also.
Hope we finally get The Internet/JMSN/Snoh Aalegra on R&B. Paramore on rock, if not then Halfnoise as a great Sonora act.

I think Lil Dicky is beyond meme-status at this point, he’s put out some pretty high profile songs. Bhad Bhabie, as laughable as her origin is, has a somewhat decent shot of escaping her meme-status as well.
My guess is that Dua Lipa would be a sub, and Cardi wouldn't come back unless she headlined, which GV might not want to do until the year after a successful second album.
I'm also interested to see if they'd book Grimes - she's doing a really good job of picking up a lot of bad publicity lately... but well, GV went after Kanye...
Anecdotal, but at the Localchella show in between 2018 weekends, the Big Thief lead singer said something like "gee, this sure is a lot better when people are actually paying attention to you..." or something like that, so my take is they might not be the most excited to get back on the lineup.
I wouldn't love the bill either, but would be there for Deftoneschella.
You want to sub out boring edm with other boring edm? We always get a couple of rare/good electronic acts and then they book some shit that attracts a crowd. I don’t see the point in bickering over swapping shit for piss.
I don't see how anybody could put Eric Prydz holographic EPIC sets on the same "boring" level as Zedd or DJ Snake playing the festival 3 times in 5 years, but you're more than welcome to feel that way.
lol so one of the dj’s you named doesn’t fit the mold of shit dj, and there’s no way they’d bring the “EPIC” set up you’ve seen at other fests. Skrillex, Griz and Deadmau5 all fucking blow. Onward.

Deadmau5’s Cube doesnt deserve this disrespect
He fully deserves all the disrespect he gets. I’m not going to check out what ever 2nd line garbage dj’s they plug and pull from year to year anyway though. Whatever they put up there to move tickets is fine as long as I get an Underworld, Aphex, Gesa etc. The draw of those artists on a Coachella lineup aren’t what they used to be anyway though now that you can go to a number of festivals with lineups full of stuff just like that.
It definitely varies whether he’s doing a dj set or if its testpilot etc but the Cube is a massive production and visually incredible. The one time ive been lucky to catch it, it was a great show.

I enjoyed his unplugged set, and his testpilot set, but I cannot get into his live shows at all, even with the production.

That’s fair. Given when I saw the Cube it was 2011, so i havent been able to see the versions since then. V 3.0 has re-gained my interest.
I love Big Grams, shrug. They have a good sound together. Even their pre-Big Grams collabs are great to me. I like hearing Big Boi over the unorthodox production, showing more versatility post-Outkast. Run For Your Life and Born To Shine, how can you dislike those?? lol
I hope we go back to the Yuma of 2017-2018 versus the bookings from this year.
Yeah outside of Dusky I have seen most of the '19 acts I'm interested in already.
Not expecting anything as crazy as a Koze/Daphni/Floating Points set at this point. Would be happy just to get some more unbooked, lo-fi acts if nothing else.
