Idk if it was posted in here, but about a month ago some guy in the Shaky thread ran into Tim Sweetwood, who runs Shaky, and said NiN are touring starting in June.

Cardi B played Which this year and she's still bigger than Lizzo, right?
yeah. many times inforoo has exclaimed "bonnaroo would never put X on which stage, they are too huge!" but it keeps happening. i understand the crowd at cardi b was a shitshow but at music festivals sometimes it be that way.
having said that i still think cardi should have played before phish on what with lumineers on which. even trey was at cardi b.

I agree. She also should have been billed higher than them, imo.

Correct. I guess I'd just implicity assumed that Missy would be pre-HL Which and Lizzo would be pre-pre-HL (for which she's definitely too big). But actually, Lizzo pre-HL and Missy LN Which works about perfectly
Hopefully Brockhampton ends up being one of those groups who "hit their peak, but then went on to a higher tier of popularity". They seem really burnt out and I got that vibe from their last album.
I haven't had the chance to listen to Ginger yet, but I like Iridescence -- I also think it would be fair to say they need a break as a group of people. They have released a shit load of music since 2016 -- I would be burnt out too. Most artists even as groups don't release what can be considered 5 albums in less than 4 years.

They have a pretty intense record deal where they have to put out six albums in three years. Wasn't an issue before the deal when they did three albums in one year. But the Ameer situation really changed things in the group. They've been really consistent with output and touring all things considered. But they really need a break or something. Apparently everyone else actually likes Ginger though

I like Ginger a lot more than Iridescence. It's highs don't match the best songs from Saturation I-III but I've been bumping Boy Bye and If You Pray Right quite a lot lately. Dearly Departed and the title track are both standouts for me too
Friday Tame Impala / J Cole / Devo / Claud Von Stroke/ Vince Staples / Rezz / Phantogram / Jenny Lewis
Sat Kendrick / Flume / My Morning Jackey / Lizzo / James Blake / Tchami / The Flaming Lips / Charli XCX
Sunday
Neil Young / Vampire Weekend / Run The Jewels / Zeds Dead / The Head and the Heart / Angel Olsen / Chris Lake
Jesus Christ, do we believe this much in Roo again?
if anyone booking the next year wants to capitalize in the re-invigorated crowd they had last this year - they would go big in 2020.
I wouldn't go as hard as this lineup. But I think we're getting to the same idea of possible structure. High Level Rock act in the current environment, 2-5 pre-HL to HL level Hip Hop Acts, one or two good EDM/dance acts, and at least two prominent classic acts. The rest is money and timing imo. Also whoever they've tapped in the past, that they may already be sitting on. Also I would possibly flip a Run the Jewels for A$AP Rocky now that he's back in play.
