This new Flume song is really pretty. I know he will probably be everywhere next year but I'd love to see him get a spot on What.
I mean it sounds like all top 40 EDC mainstage music... I think we can do better then a guy playing aggressively mediocre music while beating the shit out of a printer and finger painting for an hour on the What. (<His new live show) Disclosure would be nice though

What possible reason would you have for thinking Bonnaroo would book something better than that?

They won’t but it’s September. It’s the one time of year I have to be optimistic. Let me have this lolol. Come November Flume and Halsey will announce tours with dates in June in Asheville and reality will hit. Until then
Well, also kinda funny that Disclosure is the EDM act of your wildest dreams...
Lol they aren’t? When did I ever say that? I was just trying to be somewhat realistic. I’m not getting Underworld, Massive Attack, Chem Bros, Nico Jarr, Aphex, Orbital on the farm lol. If they want to throw us a MCDE, Black Madonna, Hecker, Koze, Peggy Gou that would be rad, but also doubtful. But as far as main stage big EDM Disclosure would be my choice for the Odesza slot etc. I know you’re probably not going but who do you think would be the best option for that slot?

I saw the Chemical Brothers this year, it was really good but they are overhyped on here. Justice and Gesaffelstein were better IMO. I haven't seen Disclosure but I assume they would be better too.
I thought Chemical Bros lived up to the hype when I saw them this year, but there’s not a clear victor between them and some of the other acts mentioned. Needless to say none of these are likely to happen this year. Hot Chip is the realistic dance act everyone should be hoping for anyways.

Chemical Brothers were weird as hell at Osheaga but I loved it. They definitely try to freak you out. Which is pretty much what I crave at Roo late night.

I've seen Chem Bros and Disclosure and seeing Gesa in November and IMO Chem bros had the better live show than Disclosure. I do love both though but Chemical Brothers were out of this world.
this might be a shot in the dark, but does anyone remember all the "genres" that bonnaroo put on that post-fest survery? They asked what % of each you would want. I'm interested in what all the genres were they included on there.

They’ve been doing that the past few years, usually the same genres. Not sure if this is exhaustive, but from what I remember off the top of my head: pop, rap, rock, metal, jam, funk/soul, world, hip hop, country, EDM, other. (I can’t recall if jazz or folk/Americana had one, and EDM might have been listed as “electronic.”)

Also pretty sure they had something on there to the effect of Legend act. Might of said classic rock? Can’t remember
