It's the sort of thing where it's more rewarding - but also potentially more frustrating - the more effort you put into it. I've played games where I've made spreadsheets and pored over posts and spent way too much time crafting up arguments, and I've played half-heartedly without paying too much attention. The games where I was more engaged were always better. It's deception and analysis and psychology and a little bit of game theory. Poking others and explaining yourself. It's fun.
Sometimes I wish I had the drive to do spreadsheets
When you previously have a boring ass job with plenty of free time, you start going back and recording all the votes and switches and other stats in old games and start building a large spreadsheet with lots of info. My new job appears to be one that will keep me crazy busy so I probably won’t be spending as much time researching...

I was being semi serious when I said take a breath before posting. There is a balance between silence and posting every single thought running through your head.
