Well, if I say I want to shake up the game, but nobody actually cares that I switched, it will make me look stupid later. But that's honestly it. I haven't made a move like this in awhile, mostly because I've been mafia or ref the last four games I've played. I haven't been town since 2017, since before I was married! And I'm enjoying it.

Look everyone, I think it would be best if we just did what Potent says without asking a lot of questions. With that in mind, Danbob - you may proceed to save my glorious yet humble ass.
Why would you switch off Maddog to then ask someone else to vote for him? What do you mean by switching up voting groups?
There are three groups of voters - Maddog, Tainted, JTR. Because people get shit for switching votes, people don't do it, and we end up with static groups. The mafia is expecting to be able to hide their split in the groups we have formed right now. I'm suggested we move those around a bit.
Also, I have no preference on who moves forward between the three in the runoff. I don't know anyone's role but my own.
Potent is playing a very odd game this time round. "Hey let's switch our votes for no reason, so that way if we're both town the voting split would be the exactly the same". While on one level potent I appreciate your willingness to be active and move things around, I don't think you're actually accomplishing anything here.

I can't accomplish anything by myself, we all know that.

I guess the question that we are all unable to answer is would you be acting differently if you weren't the one who slipped out of the 4 way?

If everyone agreed to do this after you suggested it, I don't see how that would clarify anything. If it happened naturally, I would understand the value. But how do you question someone about "that one vote switch" later on if we all just planned to switch around randomly.

Nah. Just read through the last game in prep for this one. Seems really fun but when you read through a game all at once it appears to move much faster than it does.
