And how do you see your vote switch helping the town?
Instead of only one vote in the next round mattering, 3 votes in the next round mattered. Very slight uptick in data that I doubt will matter, but an uptick nonetheless. Anyone that considers a town win the #1 priority should have been willing to make that switch.
When you answer for other people, it gives them the opportunity to potentially piggyback off of your response instead of coming up with their own answers, thus obfuscating any info I could glean from their potential response.
This is why I don’t move when people tell me too off principal. It’s too easy to be mafia mini pupated. The fact no one was against the switch until after the round has closed is also of suspect to me.
I assuming you're referring to me; I didn't even see the vote switch until getting home from work, and I wish I had. I guess since you responded with a joke after Jake made his move, it doesn't raise any flags for you?
Also mini putated is totally entering my vocabulary now, thank you.

I actually wasn’t referring to you. I think I worded it poorly. I’m suspicious that no one was against the proposal to switch (to me and later jortles)
I’m gonna do a reread but when jortles switched he said 4 people were for the switch to mad dog. I understand the logic of wanting better revotes, but something just isn’t sitting right in my gut about it.

Was counting you, potent, tainted and JTR. Not that JTR's opinion really mattered because he was going to be saved. All on the same page. Check it out.
I wanted at least 1, hopefully 2 more people to weigh in, but unfortunately activity was low among like 5 posters yesterday.

I say vote for who you find most suspicious and don't worry about who revotes. That being said if you aren't sure getting more info isn't a bad thing.
I can’t say I’m happy about the way things are going right now. I would like to see some more relevant voters than just giving Carini the deciding vote.
This is what made me think you were on board. If you weren't, then it was a misunderstanding, but it doesn't change the legitimacy of my reasoning.

Ah I gotchya I thought you meant I was saying you specifically should switch to mad dog. Yeah definitely going to reread.
I decided I was going to vote for who my gut said to vote for after a reread of the two in question, whether it meant tying it up or pushing someone ahead. If I got one vibe from rereading them both, it's that Maddog is not the inspector. (YOU BETTER NOT BE INSPECTOR, PUNK!)

JR > Maddog
Don’t you know, inspectors and gifs go together hand in hand /s

I'm available, but I'm not trying to mini pupate the situation or state things that could eventually be misconstrued or worse by mafia. At this point its a shit show. I'm not inspector, I'm not mafia. Jim doesn't likely seem inspector, so from my limited point of view the first final runoff could potentially be townie v townie. To all the newer folks, think of this game like chess: study what everyone else is doing prior to making any action, and appreciate that when you cut the corners people tend to get sticky. When we change votes at or near the end of a runoff, it sends red flags in a variety of directions. Mafia can use it against you by posing as town, town can use it against you acting as logical town, and the people that you vote switch to and from can feel or be mini putated by the rest of the actors. It's crazy to think all that comes from a simple vote switch, but it does - and that's a good thing early on in the game actually. There is only one townie who knows the identity of one mafia, and they are getting an opportunity to watch them react and respond to these moves. To me, that creates an opportunity for town assuming it is unspoiled. While it certainly can create its own waves, if town focuses and sifts through the BS that gets tossed around in the wake of a volatile move like that, it will have a lot easier time spotting mafia making moves.

In your opinion, overall, did the town benefit or suffer from my switch?

Well I'm a little biased since I'm town and I continue to be in the runoff - If you were going to make a swing vote you should have saved me!
As far as I'm concerned, towns Day 1 moves have spelled its defeat for several games now. Your move doesn't scream positive or negative for town in itself, but the fact that there is more movement on Day 1 (to me) rarely has as negative of a result as a stagnant day 1 and a day 2 that starts with "Something doesn't feel right"

Doh. I so meant to use mini pupate in my post! I even ctrl-Ced it from the last page. In related news. I don't have a read on you one way or the other.

Im taking this as you saying it was a minor benefit to the town, so no regrets. I dont think I could have saved you regardless. I went from jtr to maddog and you had 4 votes before and after.

You couldn't have saved me, but I appreciate that you're paying this much attention.

ohh Miriam-Webster is going to have a field day when they realize there is no proper auto-correct for misspelling it. For whatever its worth, ambiguity is my focus this game. I pigeon-holed myself pretty bad last game and it cost me a W so I'm trying to keep my eyes peeled back as far as they go this time around.

Do you think I'm town?
I'm trying to figure out why you keep saying "I'm town I'm town I'm town". It seems a little out of character for you. I suspect it's because you didn't really sign up for this game, you just kinda got tossed in so you're like, "Fuck it, I'm screwing around in this one."
I don't think either of of the guys in the runoff are mafia and I don't think they're not.
