yeah - but no vegas date on this tour either I dont think - and a new album - and there are literally like 5 american festivals that weekend and only so many headliners left. I could also see the Killers doing this and pilgrimage that weekend

Off a new record though. I sympathize with wanting something else but festival headliners in 2019 is a fairly bleak landscape.
This is true. I still can't believe Post Malone is HLing Roo. With Black Keys already HLing, I suppose Mumford would be a solid 2nd since I doubt they'd book Tame/Strokes given the similar genre. Meanwhile, Post, 21 Pilots (I believe theyre in Europe though), Imagine Dragons, could ruin a could HL spot.

Mumford is playing a show here in Indianapolis next month, and they just announced they're playing an acoustic set at a local record store the same day and a few friends of mine camped out literally all night in front of the vinyl shop to score tickets. I'm glad they're excited, but I thought that was pretty funny
Gary Clark also looks likely. Does a Reno date the week before mean anything? He plays Reno the 15th, Aspen the 17th and then a LiB gap til the 24th in Phx. Im getting hype for the potential of this lineup.
if we get all of these likely acts i prob wont even care who else headlines. I have got my expectations way higher then they should be. If Hot Chip is here I cant envision this being bad enough to keep me away.
