I have to work pretty much all day tomorrow, so I'll go ahead and give some thoughts while I have time.
I thought Potent was awfully quiet early on. Aside from voting, he didn't have anything to say about some odd voting and early triple-stacking involving him (of course, I was intimately involved as well). He then gave Jaz a super early Town read. I'm not a fan of giving reads that early, and while I think it would be weird for both of them to be Mafia and to put that out there, it's possible Potent is ingratiating himself to Jaz or something like that.
Jaz is talking more than usual, I suppose. I wouldn't give him a read one way or another because of that quite yet, but it is peculiar. I would definitely not say it makes him Town-ish on Day 1. There are a lot of newer players in the game and Jaz is experienced. It's possible that it simply fell to him to start planting the seeds of some narrative.
I'm leaving my vote as-is for now. I'm pretty comfortable on Potent. I may move, if someone has anything convincing to say or if I notice anything on another read.
This is your only post of any content, and it seemed to come a little late in the day after people were questioning your quietness. I'm not confident that you are mafia or anything, but this situation could sit better with me.

I've been working a lot and I know that people are barely going to care what I have to say when my ass is on the line, anyway.
Meh. Figured someone would move to me after the initial votes. Happened last round, too.
Now that votes are gonna cast, I'm gonna openly advocate for a Potent/Pablo runoff. Kanye so far appears the most townie-ish to me, plus Pablo took his vote off of Potent and put it onto Kanye. Pablo's also been conspicuously quiet, and Potent quickly latched onto Kanye's idea of putting someone without votes into the runoff, which would make sense if he was Mafia and he and/or a teammate was about to go forward. Otherwise he's barely added anything to the conversation other than talk about numbers/percentages in a 4- vs 5-way runoff. Doesn't help that he's voting for me and I know I'm town, but that's just the usual townie paranoia.
But yeah I think Pablo/Potent is a good runoff.
You got what you wanted and you are contributing nothing now that it is happening. Thanks.
"Dead weight" is just an unnecessary insult and I'm just gonna try to let that go.
Also, let's clarify something else real quick since your feelings seem a hurt. There was a vote once about what can be said in game and the resolution was basically that in game, anything goes. If I hurt your feelings in game, you forgot it was a game. Your bad. I'll be nice again when the game is over or if we interact in the 20 questions thread.

I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to be contributing as someone who is in the runoff, doesn't know anyone's role but my own, and hasn't seen a reveal.
If someone has a question to ask me, great, I will answer it. I have had my share of flubs in this game and I qould have been ready to answer for those.
What am I supposed to say? And what can I say that won't be seen as bullshit, regardless of role? I'm in the runoff. I don't know who is Mafia. I think it is stupid to have strong reads this early on. I'm sorry if that makes me dead weight and saying a bunch of nonsense like Kanye or Jaz qualifies me as a contributor. If so, I'm clearly playing the wrong game.

Nothing. It's day 1. Someone dies. I made it very clear that I don't feel strongly about anything. When did you turn so sensitive?

This is so rich coming from you lmao
My ragequit last year was about shitty comments post-game. You're comparing apples to oranges. However, insanely defensive usually points to emotional townie... I'm not at all confident of your role.
The guy who ragequit for months because Maddog gently suggested the possibility of him cheating says I'm sensitive, yall.
Lol, we both said ragequit before reading each other. Anyhow, wanna maybe focus more on the game and less on your emotions? It's day 1. If you die, you die.

I just don't like being called dead weight when I'm playing the game the same way you are or any rational would be playing it.
You can make the points you're making about "someone dies. I don't know what I think about your role" without saying I'm dead weight. You knew what you were doing by saying that. You knew I wouldn't like that. Stop acting surprised.

I'm totally down to talk game with people while I'm still here. I have a similar work schedule tomorrow (noon to eight-ish), so my input will be spotty, but I'll try to contribute something (something reasonable as far as what we *know* at this point) while I still can.
But I'm not going to try to spin some yarn about Potent being Mafia or whatever, because I don't know or even really think that's true. I just know it's more likely that he is than I am, and that itself is a blanket statement.
Well apparently I only post nonsense so I'm just gonna stay quiet 🙄
I feel like, by your own admission, you say a LOT of stuff. You're thinking you're going to get whacked because one of the things you said might have spooked Mafia. That implies a lot of it doesn't, and that you're kinda just throwing a bunch of stuff at the wall to see if something sticks. That's one way to do it, I guess, and I've been hesitant to a fault at times in my career in the game, but I don't think it's unfair to characterize at least some of what you say as nonsense.

Did I act surprised? The dead weight comment that sent you into a tizzy was hardly thought out, I didn't "know what I was doing". I pushed your buttons and you seem to be the one surprised we're playing a mafia game. A kinder, gentler way to say it would have been "quiet for Pablo".

I've moved on. It's not worth arguing about. Keep saying I'm in a "tizzy" or I "forgot we were playing a game". I'm over it. We can talk about the game or we can just stop talking. I'm not going to let you push my buttons. I could have said a whole lot worse. This is me being nice.
