Back in 2006 my fantasy league switched to an auction, we used some fly by night website called fantasyauctioneer. This was before ESPN and others did auctions. Anyway, somebody accidentally bid $71 on Lee Evans. The commish paused the auction, tried to rewind it, and ended up killing the ENTIRE website, they ended up going out of business! All because of $71 Lee Evans.

I don't remember how we populated our fantasy teams that year, I just sent a text to ask who remembers.
