No way would Solange end up playing Daze. The festival has not branched out/evolved to that degree, with pop/R&B acts in the lineup, let along headlining it.
I mean, Nick Hakim is R&B, she is on Fly Lo's new album, Panda produced on the new album (Dev Hynes and Steve Lacy also seem like they could fit), she's not all that different than Weyes blood, I don't think it's that crazy.

Honestly I'd stop going to DD of Solange headlined. Would mean they're just trying to be every other fest to me. Which I really can't see happening. I doubt any of the names I've mentioned would play there
Ahhh! I take it back! I don't want you guys to not go lol. but tbf, is booking Tame, Flips, FlyLo, Parquet, etc that much different, they've all played way more festivals than Solange. Flips are doing something interesting, but they're also doing a similar thing for riot, tames set would probably be the exact same they play at every festival, same with courts. I think y'all are over placing her as a pop/r&b act, like she's way closer to someone like Weyes/Chelsea Wolfe than she is her sister.

?!? Think you're reaching a bit. I mean, yes she is a singer/songwriter like Weyes and Chelsea, but her style & sound is vastly different than either one of them.
this lineup is ridiculous. love everyone at this fest ive seen and want to see the rest. location makes it a bit difficult to dive in tho. should just buy a ticket cuz thom yorke has to be announced and ANIMA is beautiful.
+1 for comet is coming. seeing Shabaka do his thing with comet at a divish bar with $5 beer/shots contrasting with sons of kemet xl in barcelona was an absolute mindfuck

I was wondering what ever happened to Metz, seems like they vanished for a while.
they were playing a show the friday of the last Day for Night and it felt like a swing and miss, but they ended up cancelling the show and idk that there was ever a reason.
