It's funny cuz each year some over-worry out about how the schedule is released - not quick enough with the full lineup, announcing headliners, daily schedules, etc. And then each year, when all is said and done, the lineup is a knock out of the park.

Alright, tinfoil hat time. I've been stalking who the DD instagram follows, and I remember they started following Sean Lennon and The Claypool Lennon Delirium about 2 weeks ago. They follow lots of random shit so obviously son't take this seriously, but I few other acts I think could be in play based on semi-recent instagram activity:
Tool Nine Inch Nails (or other Trent Reznor projects) The Mars Volta (or other Omar Rodriguez Lopez projects) Ween Kamasi Washington
Also, while not recent they do follow Patti Smith and Angel Olsen, which both seem like natural fits that are both touring and available during DD.

I’m not sure they can afford either but I’ve kinda convinced myself TooL is possible. They’re in California that weekend, there might be a personal connection since Primus toured with TooL and JJUUJJUU toured with Primus. There was also a couple of comments on an Instagram post a while back claiming Desert Daze was listed on Tool’s website, which if true was removed by the time I checked so idk.

She's a bit like a dubby remix of Nico, some really good covers of Yoko Ono and Chromatics. I'm guessing the band she's part of, Exploded View, have a good chance of being booked too.

Definitely not for everyone, but I will say she is more compelling live.
Also gonna be that guy and say ACKSHUALLY its a Shocking Blue song that Nirvana covered
yeah i have no idea who that is. also, Claypool Lennon didn't seem to get a lot of instagram likes compared to some of same level names and people beneath them.
