I like their records but I've never seen them live, I passed on it the only festival I've been at where they played because they came on after Television and that shit was flawless and I had to drive back home from San Antonio at like 1 am.
I really liked their first album and had a chance to see them in a club in NYC back then, and it was fun. But I wasn’t a big fan of their second album or after.

Last time I saw Temples was 2016 and was actually pretty impressed. I saw them two times prior and both times were very forgettable, but the stuff off their second album sounds much better live.
Vinyl Williams opened and were waaaay better though

Yeah I'm getting pretty excited too. I wonder how much will change this year. #1 on my list would be opening up the tent stage. I'm guessing the point of keeping it closed was providing darkness for the bands playing in the daytime but the limited capacity sucked and it got musky as hell in there. They also had a sort of Cinema space at the Joshua Tree location for films/speakers which would be hard to replicate without a permanent structure for it, but that had a lot of potential.
And it would be nice if they added more stuff in the campgrounds too, even just some food options out there would be an improvement.

Agree with the campsite. I was pretty far away when though I got there Thurs early, and teepee area was pretty barren. I like the whole club aspect of the tent, reminded me of the panorama club tent. Would be amazing if they could add a small tent on the beach though
I know very little about Connan Mockasin but wasn’t he in Mac Demarco’s band? I know he’s associated with Mac in some way.
I couldn't tell you. I didn't think so but I don't know much about him either. I know he's popped up a lot on stations I listen to and I've always liked him
