Yeah Beach House is the weirdest addition yet... I like diversity but I always liked how this was the “metal” fest I went to compared to the other ones. But #thisisnotametalfestival

I want one headliner announced so I can get a read on what they are trying to accomplish. I am stoked on the lineup but if the headliners are not heavy ill be a lil dissapointed. With these names though I am wondering if MBV is in the running now?

Still holding out hope they have Emperor lined up as I can't see any other festival in America that are able to afford them.

I dont think electric wizard will end up being one. I think they have to fill out four stages and the headliners will have to be notched up a bit. I could be completely wrong but I am holding out hope for some biiiiiig names that crossover and get more than just metal heads. I love just the metal head vibe but I think they are trying to broaden their horizon of attendees and electric wizard wont do that.

I’m hoping they don’t branch out so much that they lose the metalhead vibes. But that seems inevitable at this point
Maybe like a Slayer and Queens of the Stone Age as headliners? Plus they have Mark Lanegan so he could link up with QOTSA and make it something special

Yea I was thinking maybe Queens possibly NIN, even though they are on a hiatus now. Whatever it is I am really stoked for this year to see what they come up with.
Finally made the jump over here from the shuttered Coachella Boards, although I've lurked on here for several years...Bon Voyage and RIP to that shitshow!
Anyways the Thursday Pool Pre-Party looks pretty solid, but I don't think I'll be able to make it to town til 7-8 that night. But I'm all in for the main 3-day fest. The bill keeps getting better and better, and there still should be another 20 or so acts added in the months to come.
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025
The only problem I had two years ago (didnt attend last year) Was the lack of people at headlining shows and it seemed empty. THe arena there looks huge and I am just worried there will be nobody at some of these acts. Swans was a sad state of affairs, they were amazing but theres was maybe 30 people there and 3 of them were having a threesome so only about 27 into the show.
I definitely get that, I had that feeling as well at some shows. I guess they have to limit the tickets to the capacity of the biggest venue but then everyone is spread across multiple
But I was at that Swans show and it seemed decently well attended. Moreso than at Bonnaroo for sure
Yeah, I was there too and remember it having a good sized crowd.
