Def Leopard, Guns n Roses, Ministry, The Crystal Method. I forget some of the other names they told me, I want to say Slayer but don't hold me to that one.
Ministry and The Crystal Method...those are not what I expected but could be decent.
They did say they werent trying to be another one of those buttrock festivals. AKA all those random ones in May that got SoaD, Tool, Foo Fighters, etc.
And he didnt say SoaD, but that doesnt mean they wont be there, I didnt specifically ask.
System of a Down - Metallica - Tool Amon Amarth - Mastadon - Marilyn Manson - Deftones - Slipknot - Hyro the Hero - Arch Enemy - Born of Osiris - Nothing More - Chevelle- Incubus - Rammstein - Ministry - GWAR - Babymetal - Alter Bridge - Volbeat - Rival Sons - Sabbath, why not?
These are my suggestions AC/C3. Please make this dream come true

Not crazy about the continued genre stratification of music festivals (I’ve been beating the Def Leppard for LN drum for years), but this sounds above average for a hard rock fest.
I googled "mega sports bar" and this is what i got:
honestly it looks incredible. could you imagine Cheap Trick playing outside of this? after that i'm going to have to update my "times i cried at concerts" post.
Not everyone likes Cults, but I found them entertaining (particularly the vocal work) the one time I saw them. Seems mellow for a metal fest though
I assumed (perhaps erroneously) that the reference was to The Cult, who are a bit more classic and a bit more metal... and who are touring on their "Sonic Temple" 30th anniversary tour this year.
If not, they should be in the mix. They also opened for GnR in the past.
In Bloom Festival 3/18-3/19 Houston, Texas Rock Werchter Festival 7/5-7/8 - Werchter, Belgium Mad Cool Festival 7/12-7/14 - Madrid, Spain Austin City Limits 10/5-10/7 - Austin, Texas
My bad. I never liked or hated The Cult one way or another. They got rained out the one time I was going to see them a few years ago. Cults is completely different. I think Sgt. Blotter hated them. Rather than being chick-pop, I found them to be pretty dreamy.

The Cult were terribly boring last year at Rocklahoma but wouldnt be a surprise at all to find them on the lineup. Hopeful for a lineup and details next week perhaps? Interested to see how they use the Bonnaroo grounds for a new festival, stages and capacity at least

Aftershock lineup (Sacramento) from DWP also being released tomorrow, happening same weekend. Lineup leak for Aftershock (Tool, Slipknot, Clutch, Gojira, Staind, Ministry, Blink 182, ADTR, BMTH, etc) looks really good.
111 will have a difficult time matching but can hopefully snag Deftones, SOAD, Incubus, Slayer, Primus, Sevendust, etc
Note sure how reliable this is but GNR Central is reporting the lineup is as follows:
GNR Judas Priest Slayer Incubus ZZ Top Deftones Kid Rock Five Finger Death Punch Ministry Evanescence Ghost Primus Breaking Benjamin Bush GWAR Cheap Trick Hellyeah Black Label Society The Cult Flogging Molly Joan Jett Steel Panther Social Distortion In This Moment Sevendust Mastodon Nothing More Greta Van Fleet The Darkness In Flames Fozzy Nonpoint Ace Frehley Buckcherry Tyler Brant & The Shakedown Fever333 Grandson Dorothy Light The Torch

All that list appears to be is a guess by a random facebook user named Deadpool that posts on a page with someone named Wolverinekills. Its not a leak or a rumor and in fairness to deadpool, clearly states in his post “i really have no idea who is going to be on this lineup, this is all one big guess.”

That list has to be BS because there's no way roobus was wrong about a headliner....
