Hard to imagine a Hangout in autumn. Doubt it would be added to the crowded October field? Early September seems or apt for a summer-style fest.
The fact they didn't set actual dates makes it most likely they put it to bed for another year.
Yeah the whole reason Gulf Shores puts up with it in May is because it brings in a lot of money at a time when there is nothing else going on. I would think early September may be more touristy?
Hangout posted about being back in 2022. Think they keep any 2020 headliners? I hope they keep RHCP and Post personally the rest could change.
Boston Calling didn’t carry RHCP over supposedly so seems doubtfully Hangout would. I would anticipate a lot of change. I can’t believe I am actually looking at condos. Always holding out hope for once last Hangout and my daughters are old enough now that they’d be into most of the recent years lineups.

Yeah I saw after the post and thought the same just didn’t wanna reply to myself there lol. Yeah iim kind of expecting a good bit of change but hopefully some good changes. I feel you I’m wanting to go back just after the year we’ve had to go have a fun time at the beach and hopefully have a good live music. I’m semi local but had passed on the previous lineups but I’m ready to be back.
Finally, a pulse for the Hangout thread. Yay! Hope y'all are enjoying the summer. Even Esteban. After vaccine....have not looked back. Enjoyed a weekend festival in Perdido Key called "Hoodstock" and had a blast. 40+ singer songwriters for two days on the intercoastal. It was a fund raiser for the Frank Brown songwriter festival this November. These folks will try to grow this festival. Been trying to hook up with friends playing in Nashville. Still have tickets to JJ Grey and Mofro in the Caverns, Pelham TN. Cashed out on our Fox TTB tickets, Alabama/Charlie Daniels, and Bruce Hornsby. I do not have a lot of hope for a return of the 2010-2015 version of Hangout although there are a few festivals that cater to the older-hippie-laid back crowd. Hope Hangout returns and pulls the alums back together for three days on the beach.
If you are visiting the Gulf Shores area, drive over to Jesse's in Magnolia Springs for a great meal, Fairhope Brewery in Fairhope for...brews, and The Hangout for a nice sunset.

I was just coming to post that they (Coldplay) have a big gap around Hangout and are in the southern US. Seems very possible. They have gaps around Roo as well

I know they get a lot of hate but I’ve never seen them live and personally wouldn’t mind if I was to see them seeing them on the beach at hangout. Yeah just noticed perfect for Roo too.

I have never seen them either. I don't have a lot of interest but I would see them and prefer them over most anyone on the 2019 top line.

Her live reputation is not good, so that's gonna cause issues if she headlines fests.
how so? i mean travis scott was an hour late at osheaga and hes still set to headline coachella. from what ive seen doja cats acl set got a shitload of buzz. more than the headliners even

Travis Scott being late due to delays at international customs has no bearing on his live reputation. In general, the dude is a professional unlike so many other rappers (e.g., Young Thug).
Regarding Doja Cat: I read stories about her lip synching at ACL here. Not that this will stop promoters from booking her as a headliner if she'll sell tickets, but nobody wins if she cannot bring it at that level.
Also, I still believe she'll skip most fests next year and play The Weeknd's stadium tour instead (they share the same management team).
