I am currently watching Trump talking all sorts of bullshit (and bashing Obama) and lying about everything. Why do I do this to myself?
Not sure. But don't you have grass to watch grow, leaves to watch fall or water to watch evaporate or something that actually may get you thinking or pondering instead of losing IQ points?

I learned he know the most about the environment and he is an environmentalist and that we are all rich now and he wants the cleanest air and water and he alone is making that happen, even though he skipped the climate change summit to discuss the fires in the Amazon. Oh and windmills don't work.

Maher's plea to him Friday in the New Rules section was excellent. Save the earth, and you get his vote. The writers did a nice job of this pulling Trump's own self-aggrandizing descriptions into the patronizing hit job. That segment shouldn't have ever had to be aired or even written. But...
I'm firmly in the Warren camp but I decided today that I will most likely vote for Bernie in the primaries because I feel like he’s the only one that can beat Trump. Hopefully Warren will either be VP or get a high level cabinet placement.

Funny, cause I am opposite. I’d prefer Bernie, but feel Warren has a better chance. 5 or 6 weeks ago I was talking about one of them needing to drop out to take on Biden alone. Wouldn’t it be great if Biden was the one who had to take an early exit?

If this recession comes, anyone is going to be able to beat Trump, and frankly I'm not sure the recession matters. Trump's polling looks bad on any number of levels and he needed to draw like 5 inside straights in a row just to be elected the first time.
We bought our house in 2006 just months before the crash and watches the home value plummet 40%. This year is it FINALLY at the point where it’s worth more than we owe on it.
I will have a breakdown if the recession makes me relive this.

Yeah nobody in their right mind should be hoping for a recession. I know a lot of people feel like our economy collapsing would ensure an L for trump. Under normal circumstances I would completely agree with that notion, but we are in new territory here. He will say it’s all part of some “big secret plan” he has or some bullshit and his base will eat it up. He has pushed the line in just about every possible way, and gotten away with it. There is no reason to think otherwise about a recession
Also just discovered this thread exists after like 8 years on here. Hi everyone!

We're meeting with a realtor this week to possibly sell the house we just bought last year (mostly because we need to move to a better school district in the next few years and don't want to be stuck).
My house that I bought in 2016 got 10 5-gallons buckets of water for the third time this year. We're filling airholes tomorrow once the water goes down. I'm so sick of this city's pumping stations.
