I think stinky is the only one actually going to multiple days of this, I’m going to a couple of aftershows and I think there may be a few people doing single days. I decided to start getting regularly tested again at work after a two week break since I was at a cramped street festival last weekend that had basically no barrier to entry.

I have virtually no interest in this year, outside of Tyler's headlining set (and a few others), but I am still having so much Lolla FOMO and nostalgia right now. I miss the fest.
My wristband was never delivered so I had to pick it up at will call. Very efficient operation. Despite a long line I was out of there in about 30 minutes

I always feel this way a little bit too, but I do honestly wonder how much of it is the thrill of going to a festival with Buckingham Fountain on the premises.

Now lets see how they handle the covid checks tomorrow. Gates are at 11 correct?
"The hordes of people expected to descend on Chicago's Grant Park for the Lollapalooza music festival this week will be required to show proof that they've been vaccinated for COVID-19 or tested negative for the disease within the last three days.
...This year's festival will look very different than in the past. To gain entry, attendees will have to present their vaccination cards or a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 test that is no more than 72 hours old. That means that anyone with a four-day pass who isn't vaccinated will have to get tested twice. Furthermore, anyone who isn't vaccinated will have to wear a mask."
Given the state of things, I would not be surprised if we see people still dropping daily during the fest. I am going, but I am not getting too attached to anything (especially on the undercard).
