So genuine question, do people just not care about Tyler rapping stuff like "I fuck bitches without their permission" during his performance? I understand he's probably not talking in reality, but still. It's a message being put out there to the audience. Tbh I think that song is kind of sick (in a bad way), but luckily he only performed the beginning of it. I'm just a bit surprised that all of Tyler's past stuff he's said seems to get a pass. But I'd be interested in hearing other perspectives. I'm not a Tyler fan so I don't know a ton about him.

It's a throwback song from his edgelord phase for his OG fans. It's not who he is anymore, so I don't consider it a big deal.
FWIW, Tyler and Earl played that same Tron Cat song at GovBall 2014 and they actually changed some of the worst lyrics in that song at the time. Both of them did learn and grow.

Obviously lyrics like that should be left in the past, but I think people definitely give him a pass given all that he has revealed in the last few years. I know he changed around some lyrics to older songs

he was literally banned from entire countries because of his early music so hard to argue no one cares. To me it’s pretty easy to differentiate someone saying something for shock value in a song and someone stopping their show to specifically say something random and hateful. Everyone’s gonna draw their own line somewhere but it’s not like anyone really cares about people rapping about murdering people.
yeah Tristan beat me to it but he faced swift and intense backlash and changed his persona and has touched on it in many songs
he's definitely an artist I pray doesn't get asked his opinions on a lot of things because he is pretty unpredictable and I'm comfortable where I'm at in my fandom of him, but he does sort of eventually come around to copping to mistakes
that said he's got Durst beat by a country mile in lyrical content, Young Thug also has a ton of iffy lines, Kanye too, and in the scheme of that era he could've been Kid Rock but he isn't
Yeah like I said I haven't kept up with him over the years, I was just aware of that song and that he's said some controversial things, so I wanted to hear some more informed perspectives. I appreciate it.

A lot of that old stuff was crass and crude. Earl wrote lots of flow-stream stuff about chainsawing off arms and ****ing the wound. Check out the lyrics to "Earl" from back in 2010. His mother sent him to reform school in Samoa I think once she found some of his writings. lmao. No, it's not politically correct whatsoever. By today's standards, I think we'd all be jailed for life for things said prior, but I never quite got to Earl's level. But they made their name off the shock and horror shit. I even remember one interview I saw back then where Earl denied he was writing horrorcore rap. I wasn't believing him at the time. It might not have been shock for shock sake and may have just been windows into a seriously demented mind.
Did Lolla allow in Camelbaks? I'm asking because of the clear bag policy. Bonnaroo had that in 2019 and we could still bring in our camelbak, but wasn't sure if it was more strict now due to Covid.
How much did you guys have to pay for the Lolla branded Pathwater?
They stopped selling it after Friday because people were throwing them and seriously injuring other people. One girl posted on the Lolla subreddit and shared pictures of blood pouring out of her head from being hit by one at the Playboi Carti set.
