The funny thing is the most stable relationship she had ran its course with half of it happening within a pandemic. Cause it might seem joe alwyn wasnt really prepared for what the full spotlight was gonna be after having been with her for so long and then going on one of the biggest tours and such. So is it a surprise she went back to somebody familiar and embraced chaos? Not totally. The other thing is that this tour is just creating all sorts of craziness. Keith Urban essentially confirmed Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burnham doing their thing. Who wouldve thought he was casually gonna get the scoop. And it this is a troll job with matty healy then she really does enjoy fucking with her audience cause they come to expect that type of thing and usually dread it.

Esp. w/r/t all of the anti-trans legislation being passed around the country, I cannot fucking stand Dave Chappelle anymore. I don't know if there is any stronger candidate for someone who went from dismantling bigotry and bigots in a humorous manner, to becoming a raging bigot.
Was disappointed to see The Roots book him for their Picnic. So many other comedians they could have booked who aren't taking part in what is looking more and more like an all-out genocide (for lack of a better word) attempt.

The TV show Lost, and some of the people who worked on it, being exposed as the shitty work environment it was with allegations of racism and other unprofessional behavior. Sounds like Cuse was a big factor in this but also others including Lindelof are on the hook for the bad atmosphere.

Yeah I heard about some of this Lost stuff before. My wife is Korean and Lost was like the 2nd show we ever watched together and she HATED the way the Korean characters were portrayed, on both the island and in the flashbacks. This also sheds a little light as to why the third season was so bad as well. Seems like the writers room was just an absolute horror show then.

It’s likely why Lindelof’s subsequent work is so much more aware, and how hard he’s tried to make the sets a better place to work now (I can only speak to Watchmen and Mrs Davis)
