How many followers do you think Alexa gained after she posted that? I’m not going to jump to Jonah's defense in this situation, but I will make multiple posts questioning why these broads won't just shut their traps!
cant wait to discuss the politics of cancel culture with you IRL AT BONNAROO 2024 <3
as long as y'all don't show up on thursday when the game has changed.
To revive the Jonah Hill discourse: the National Review defended him pretty hard today if that tells you anything lol
My girl Dash was in town for the bullrun, and anytime anyone would say anything slightly controversial she would go, "Is that the Johan Hill you want to die on?" Which make me die laughing every single time. He's a real life meme to me now. Fuck that dude. LOL
the assistant to the head recruiter or something got a 10 year ban
Yeah. That's the longest show cause I can ever remember seeing. It was kind of funny to watch bc Pruitt tried to fight him getting fired for cause due to what ended up being these violations stating Tennessee was just trying to get out of paying him. I feel like that case is pretty much toast after this.

Jason Aldean facing backlash for his song that comes off at best like a handful of dog whistles. Lyrics about how if you curse at cops then him and other "good ol boys" will take care of you with their guns. He shot the video in front of a historical site that has had plenty of racism and worse at it and best part is he's not even from a "little town" like he describes.
Lol and he’s on a current TV show right now, so that doesn’t feel v canceled to me Lance! Quit cryin
jfc lance armstrong is so barf. he's on this 'stars on mars' reality tv show. he started a big argument about no trans athletes (his reason: b/c it isn't FAIR....said the man who used drugs to get an unfair advantage) and then the group refused to make him the leader of the episode's mission. he is throwing a fit and said "well maybe i'll just leave and i can be back in aspen tomorrow". LOL

Great work
this song is ridiculous. I feel like carjacking an old lady at a red light is going to have a high success rate regardless of the population of the city you attempt it in
Jesus Christ, he filmed it in front of the Maury County courthouse in Columbia. Don’t know if any of you have followed the local news around here, and why would you. But two people put up a bunch of KKK fliers on churches in Columbia last week. They have been arrested. Dumbasses were on video doing it.

Wild that you can watch dozens of people murdered in front of you at your own concert and still take the side of guns.
That's even more disturbing than the racism imo. Those dead people were from small towns too. Zero value on human life.
It kinda feels like he's just a politician or fox news host who is saying what he says for profit and may not even truly believe it.
He didn't even write the song that he's now defending. It was 4 other people and he just sang it but is still acting like he's some small town good ole boy who just wants neighbors to help each other.
It's just so lame and transparent about it's goal. It feels like some of the "god bless america / protect the troops / 'MERICA!" type songs after 9/11 happened. This was clearly a "this will be eaten up by those idiots". He was hoping for the Morgan Wallen n-word bump.

y'all wonder why I have my feelings... I mean I agree with LD... it's going to be a top hit BECAUSE he was inflammatory.

I fucking hate people.
Hate the right people. Some of them write manuals on how to march on Washington DC.
Then have the moment exploited by two or three lines MLK wrote that are now used like pin points when the speech is 3hrs long.

going to write a song "Try Booking Beyonce to Headline a Music Festival in the Small Town of Manchester, TN" about how i'll do violence if Beyonce gets booked at bonnaroo, hope the ensuing controversy gets bonnaroo to book Beyonce in defiance. once Beyonce is locked into a contract i'll reveal it was all a ploy and i was just jokin around.

Pop country nowadays is basically music for MAGA hats and the most basic people. Aldean seems to understand this better than most, that doing something to piss off the libs will be wildly successful for him.
The song doesn't surprise me at all. It would've probably been successful for it's market audience anyway, because these people believe this line of thinking, but this publicity is going to turn it into a summer anthem. He's going to make a lot of money off of this.
Violent crimes are up in small towns, too. The logic doesn't even make sense.
Do you want to dance while also thinking about all the ways you've failed as a human?

Per capita “small towns” are less safe than big cities.
