I can’t remember when or where I read this, but someone on Twitter said something like “there are plenty of good artists who also don’t, like, rape and assault people. Toss them your support instead of doubling down on these shitty people.”
I wonder if he saw something he didn't like, or if public opinion was too much?
I think he was in the same spot as Feist and just didnt want to be on the tour. But Beck had more time to make the decision. And he was able to be considerate and let AF find another opening act and then make the change. I never thought Beck wasnt going to drop out, its just a matter of when.
She's great. She was selling tees for charity that said Lunatic Country Music Person - I think that's what Aldean's wife called her? - and a trans support hotline number. I tried to get one for my wife but they were sold out.

Since I live in Nashville and hear about this every damn day, I can give you the blow by blow.
Maren Morris VS Brittany Aldean
-Brittany (wife of Jason Aldean, supposed big country singer) wrote on her insta "I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life" followed by some stupid emojis
-Maren (also a supposed big country singer) clapped back with "Its so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human" and called Brittany an "insurrection Barbie" (she does look a bit plastic)
-Brittany doubled down and called her "Karen Morris' and continued to spout BS on her insta.
-Candace Owen decided this was too much fun to miss with "It's easier to not castrate your children. But I guess whatever helps sell bad records".
-Maren hit back with "Oh my god, not you. My Grammy is positively sobbing right now."
-Needless to say the husbands stepped into it, but who cares what they had to say, this is a cat fight.
-Brittany had RaeLynn (who the fuck is that?) and Lara Trump on her side.
-Maren had Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, and Jonathan Van Ness on her side.
-Brittany starts, I swear to god, a Barbie line, and clothing with "Don't Tread on Our Kids' sweatshirts. WTF
-Brittany goes on Tucker Carlson. What could go wrong?
-Jason Aldean's publicity firm resigns. It's really bad when you PR team says your wife cray, we outta here.
-Maren put out a t-shirt with "lunatic country music person" and the phone number for the Trans Lifeline crisis hotline. Money went to Trans Lifeline & GLAAD's Transgender Media Program.
-Maren skipped the CMAs because she might run into you know who.
Brittany Aldean
Maren Morris
Add on update-Jason Andean had a concert here at Bridgestone the other night. He was jelly that Keith Urban had just had a show there where he brought out a bunch of stars and his beautiful and TALENTED wife Nicole. So Jason brought out Miranda Lambert and then threatened to bring out Maren Morris. This got the expected boos. So he brought out Morgan Wallen. And the crowd goes wild. Thus the video you saw above.

We all prob agree on this, but I feel like saying it anyway.
If you're a tomboy, you're still a girl. Liking certain clothes and activities doesn't make you trans. What a dumb argument on her part.

Maren Morris’ new album is pretty great. I was impressed. I am very thankful for country singers like her, Jason Isbell, and Kacey Musgraves (to name a few) who are not scared to stand up for what’s right.
Fuck. Bummed if Miranda 'Y'all Means Y"all' Lambert has turned homophobe.
Wait. What?
I wouldn’t take her showing up to sing one song with Insurrection Barbie’s husband to mean she’s on the dark side. Probably her label pushed it. Other than her regularly cheating on whoever she’s with at the time, I’ve heard nothing.
Jesse Rutherford of the neighborhood seems to be on his way out. 31 years old and dating Billie Eilish at 20. knew her since he was 26 and she was 15. age gaps are weird and depends on context but given how long hes known her this is super sus and gives groomer to me

Yeah, that always adds another layer of icky to it.
If a 50 year old actor wants to date a 28 year old actor they met at a hollywood party or ceremony or whatever? Sure the age gap seems odd to me but it's not super creepy.
Knowing the person when they were in braces and middle school and then dating them just after they come of age? How long you been thinking about that?
Tbh I’ve always found it weird when people justify like oh she’s legal. Like uh ok? Did she totally mature at 17/18 when the clock struck twelve?? I was a child until I was like 25 lol

A friend of mine is married to a girl he met when he was around 18 and she was 12. But there's of course more to the story.
The 12 year old girl was the daughter of a woman who ran a week long camp for people with special needs. My friend volunteered as a camp counselor at this camp every summer when he was in high school and some in college. The 12 year old girl had a crush on HIM when she was that age.
Fast forward to about 8-9 years ago, and we were at another buddy's wedding. After the reception ended, my friend goes a local bar to keep drinking. We were like 28/29 at the time. At that bar, he runs into a familiar face - the 12 year old girl who was always at the camp that her mom ran. Only now this girl was a 22/23 year old woman fresh out of college. They hit it off and he goes home with her. They started dating and have now been married for almost 4 years.
She never crossed his mind, but she had a childhood crush on him for a couple summers. Now they're married. Did he groom her?
