Follow-up: JID is pretty dope, nice to see there's some rap crews out there that still give a shit.
Dreamville is basically our current Paid Dues vibe -- some of it is quality but I'll say that it's also a lot more "safety" artists on the label. Great messaging, decent to good songs, but sometimes boring as shit.

Other than Lizzo, Nelly, and JID, who do you all think the hip hop artists will be? J Cole makes a lot of sense at the four again since JID is confirmed, but doubt he would take anything lower than that for billing. RTJ and Danny Brown would be sweet. The rap lineup was pretty strong in 2013 with Wu Tang, Kendrick, Nas, A$Ap Rocky, Earl, Killer Mike, Action Bronson, etc. I can definitely see Denzel Curry and Tierra Whack being there.

Megan Thee Stallion, JPEG, Freddie Gibbs x Madlib, and Earl would be really nice. I would love any of Atmosphere, Tyler, and Vince Staples as well. I feel like RTJ has to be there, with RTJ4 is coming this year.

Agreed that DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion (sb: anyone else hate pronouncing "Thee"? Like even in my head I over-enunciate the "ee" sound and it's annoying. But I digress) seem like relatively safe bets.
Other names that wouldn't surprise me: slowthai, Griselda, one of those emo rappers whose name I'd recognize but never listened to, Lil Baby, Earthgang... There aren't a whole lot of higher-tier hip-hop artists that are coming to mind though. Snoop, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Cudi...none of which make me go "wow" but I could end up at any of the above.
Clipping. would be a great booking if we don't get JPEGMAFIA.
