Is there really two hyped rappers right now called Da Baby and Lil Baby?
fun fact, they are both literally babies. they aren't that skilled technically since they can't talk real good, but the marketing has been great and they are getting better at walking. i don't love any of their songs but i really dig their whole vibe. they smile a lot and grip adult fingers pretty strong.
Idk I think DaBaby is a pretty technically skilled rapper

i regret the joke already because it was pretty easy but i liked the idea of the music hype machine building an image around a cute little baby, stumbling around with his little bottle.

I have mixed thoughts about DaBaby. His sound is good and his flow is unique, but doesn't vary much at all outside of a couple songs. Imo he really needs to switch things up more or he's gonna get stale fast.

Highly annoying. I posted about it when I saw him but “that ain’t dababy thats my baby” no fewer than 15 times. He was a decent rapper, but I’d have taken air horn buttons by that point.

Other than Lizzo, Nelly, and JID, who do you all think the hip hop artists will be? J Cole makes a lot of sense at the four again since JID is confirmed, but doubt he would take anything lower than that for billing. RTJ and Danny Brown would be sweet. The rap lineup was pretty strong in 2013 with Wu Tang, Kendrick, Nas, A$Ap Rocky, Earl, Killer Mike, Action Bronson, etc. I can definitely see Denzel Curry and Tierra Whack being there.
DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion could end up pretty high on the lineup. Kid Cudi is mentioned a lot. JPEGMAFIA would be a great booking
Freddie Gibbs and Madlib should come back, same with Earl

I mean, ya not wrong. He got really corny in the mid to late 90s. But before that he was considered one of the best from the mid 80s to early 90s. I think having Q-Tip producing his album has the potential for something really cool. His production on Danny Browns last album was 🔥🔥🔥

LL crushed at Meadows a few years ago. Had a ton of guests and was just solid as fuck live. As far as corny goes, he's an 80s rapper. Not much from then holds up to scrutiny
