Seemed like their was enough initial interest to make a thread for this. Interested in input on what setup works the best for everyone. Yahoo vs ESPN doesn't really matter to me. Also I think I would prefer snake vs auction but I'd be willing to do an auction if that's the preference. Also would like input on a buy-in, I would lean free to $10 at the most.
What is sounds like, everyone gets a fake budget and you get players by being the highest bidder. I've never done one, it sounds fun but it takes way longer than a snake draft.
Fwiw a free league is the best place to do your first auction. It's a little more involved, but even if you're just a go by the default rankings person you can use the avg prices to make it work.
So uhhh I guess I should be setting this thing up, I'm thinking Thursday evening, or next weekend sometime for a draft, could use input from when works for people. I'm gonna do a snake draft because I know how it works better and I'll probably go through ESPN cause it's what I used last time. If everyone that had interest joins will sit nicely at 8
