The league I commish has waivers that run twice a week and also has a season-long 100 dollar free agency auction budget. That pretty much takes care of that.
*Because mad dog took advantage of the unlimited adds and won the league after barely making playoffs in year 1.

Yahoo has the option to set the lineup with active players for the whole week and its a game changer, doesn't look like ESPN has that but it shouldn't be too hard to go back to setting everyday
I don't think it'll be a big deal. It's worse in bigger leagues cause all the end of the bench dudes are equally meh, but if y'all start dropping all your good players just to have your rosters filled every day I'll just pick up the better ones you dropped.

I think it should be 4 or 5.
Unfortunately in these weekly leagues it's whomever plays the most games most weeks and not the best players
