I know this is crazy to be asking at this point, but how does this shit work? Am I only allowed a certain amount of starts per week? How is scoring determined?

The worst part of fantasy basketball is having to set your lineup every day since there's games every day. You can change your entire lineup every day, but you'll have three people on the bench per day and you have to have people in the correct positions on your lineup other than utility which can be anything.

The drama of this can be mostly avoided by setting your lineup every Sunday for the next week. You might have some acquisitions.

Yeah I remember it being tragically bad last time I played like 7 years ago where people make like 15 acquisitions per week just to fill their lineups and get points. A few years back, my friend and I came up with like 5-6 ideas on how to fix fantasy basketball. Never tried it out. Overall I think there should be a movement to fewer overall starts and fewer starts per player (maybe 2 per week). Would be fun to actually have to look at matchups and decide which two games you want to start your player based on match-ups. Fewer games / players per week would also be cool because each of your games would have more riding on them and they'd become more appointment viewing.

The league I commish has waivers that run twice a week and also has a season-long 100 dollar free agency auction budget. That pretty much takes care of that.

*Because mad dog took advantage of the unlimited adds and won the league after barely making playoffs in year 1.
Yahoo has the option to set the lineup with active players for the whole week and its a game changer, doesn't look like ESPN has that but it shouldn't be too hard to go back to setting everyday
