Translated from the leaked Italian press release
IRON MAIDEN today announce the “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR 2025/26”, which will kick off in late May in Budapest and will be followed by 27 shows at stadiums, festivals and arenas across Europe. The “RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR 2025/26” marks 50 years since Steve Harris formed the band in late 1975 and to celebrate this event, Maiden fans have been promised a very special setlist, spanning all nine studio albums from “Iron Maiden” to “Fear Of The Dark”, featuring their most spectacular songs and their most elaborate stage show ever!
The only Italian date will take place on Sunday 13 July 2025 at the Stadio Euganeo in Padua.
Singer Bruce Dickinson states: “Next year will be very special for IRON MAIDEN and we will give our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that will put a huge smile on your face and leave a big cheer in your throat too! If you’ve seen us before, get ready to take this experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us before, then what the hell are you waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! IRON MAIDEN will definitely get you!”
Manager Rod Smallwood adds: “50 years of Maiden and I’ve lived through 46 of them! With over 100 million albums sold, almost 2,500 shows in 64 countries and countless millions of fans, we see every tour as a new challenge to bring something different and exciting to the fans. And for this very special tour we’re going to do some incredible things! We’ll be playing classics and fan favourites from the first nine albums, from “IRON MAIDEN” to “FEAR OF THE DARK”, many songs that haven’t been played in years and many more will probably never be played again in the future. We’ve already been working hard for months to put together an even more exciting and elaborate new show that will breathe new life into the songs than we’ve ever been able to before. It’s going to be a huge two years for IRON MAIDEN and Eddie of course, we’re very excited about what we’ve got in store for you, the fans, during our 50th anniversary celebrations. I promise you’re all going to be very happy indeed!”

I think I might jump on the two day. Never caught Metallica and it's an easy drive up from Cincy. Not that interested in Rob Zombie but AiC is a huge plus. Hope for some great undercards. A strong Saturday HL could push me to buy the full pass

Pulled the trigger on the stadium 2-day. $300 all in with shipping and fees and all which is a big bite, but excited for two nights of Metallica an easy drive from home in a venue way smaller than the other ones on the tour. My first time at Sonic Temple/Rock on the Range after thinking about it for years.

Problem with pushing these things to 4 days is Danny is gonna run out of headliners real fast. There can't be more than like twenty bands on that level, right?
Kiss Slipknot Nine Inch Nails Red Hot Chili Peppers Korn Guns n Roses Foo Fighters Metallica My Chemical Romance Iron Maiden Green Day Tool Rage Against The Machine System of a Down Avenged Sevenfold Disturbed Rammstein AC/DC Aerosmith Slayer reunion? Idk (✅)
looked back at this list from two years ago and here's the others that have happened since:
Motley Crue Limp Bizkit Misfits Pantera
Not a great look that the newest act on that list is Limp Bizkit. Rammstein and System still haven't happened, maybe that's the push for next year? If Rockville gets both I'll probably go.
He needs to get Rammstein over here! That would rule.

Days 3 and 4 went off without any issues. Falling in Reverse was the only act that couldnt make it due to weather. They were replaced by Til Lindemann in one of the more unique performances i have seen. A shame Slayer and their busy schedule was unable to fill that void. Good times still had. Sunday crowd was large

Full Sonic Temple lineup coming today. They followed the Blue Ridge one band a day lineup announcement template for first 38 acts. 66 more bands coming today

Already had a 2-day for the Metallica days and they are just STACKED for me. More crammed into Friday/Sunday that fits my taste than this fest usually has in a whole weekend

Only day I would not be interested in is Saturday but Friday is RIDICULOUSLY stacked wow. Some really good death metal on there, thrash metal royalty, and Acid Bath. Jesus.

Is this in a glorified parking lot seeing as its ata soccer stadium? I hate metal fests on pavement/gravel... Extra ouchies in the pit
Not glorified, it’s a parking lot. Main stage is a permanent stage inside the stadium with plastic flooring over the field, but the other 3 are on asphalt.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

Does SOAD skipping Sick New World make them a likely candidate for Rockville? It's bad enough we're going to get Sublime, hopefully Wimmer throws us a bone with ACDC or Tomahawk.
Edit: Bad news: Peppers look likely with leaked dates. GOOD NEWS: Dream Theater amd Knocked Loose are touring Wimmer-like fests, throw in Danny Elfman and Swans and I'll get a day pass.
I won't fault Ben for making a living, but kinda funny and predictable that DEP went straight from "we are playing a couple of shows with Dimitri for our OG fans" to "yes, we will take your buttrock money".
