Count me in, but replace Diplo with Gryffin live set.

Fair point. It's just so weird having two festivals in such close proximity going down at the same time.
hopefully a lot of overlap tbh
The only thing that makes me think that might *not* be the case is that Firefly is GoldenVoice, and GovBall is LiveNation. Hopefully, we're not in the kind of place where they'd want to get all territorial about it, but if they do...
I'm curious how this'll affect attendance for each festival, as well.

Even as close (relatively) as Firefly and Gov Ball are I don't think that is going to stretch the attendance. I would think most would usually go to one or the other. Interested to see who winds up on the lineup and what sort of carryover there is from the 2020 lineup.

with Halsey likely out bc of her Pregnancy, i honestly think it's more likely they upgrade Cage The Elephant to HLer than them getting and sharing Tame with Gov Ball.
pump for this as a back up for roo. i wanna roo but it just hard cuz its so far nice to have something closer! fingers crossed line up is cool i have rage tickets rolled over but would rather just do firefly if they play.

im not much of a Billie fan but Rage, Billie and Dua would be far and away the best headliner trio in this festival's history. I hope that it actually happens, but my gut says Dua plays arenas in early 2022 in the US and stays and europe before that

people need to stop mocking Dua as a sub lol
She has only toured the U.S once so as much as you want to sound like her agent right now, this is what they could do for now. 4th overall is nothing to be upset at. And is she supposed to be above Billie who you know can sell out a stadium right now?
Edit: and forgot to point out she isnt going to teleport over in the middle of her Europe tour just to do Firefly lol

If Halsey could headline on last year's poster, then Dua Lipa can arguably headline this year. It's also more likely that fall tours can occur in the USA rather than Europe.
But RATM - Billie Eilish - Tame Impala does seem more likely. Which could actually persuade me to attend this fall.

the Dua to US festivals argument is that Europe's vaccine rollout is so bad that those shows get washed, but I agree I think shes in europe until 2022

I'd kill for MCR. They're in Jersey on the 21st and then Florida on the 25th. They're mostly likely not on the lineup, but it's nice that there's at least a 1% possibility haha
Tames radius clause from last year is still probably in place with Govball. Rage seems likely to punt their whole tour to 2022. I think it's predominately a new lineup

Most likely Dua will be able to keep her UK dates which are what overlaps during Firefly. The europe portion will be an issue in a couple months when theyll have to decide if its possible or not.

Maybe Green Day is in play? They play the weekend before at LiB in Vegas then they are done. Seems like a logical sub in. Not sure of the conflict with their tour dates around the mid atlantic though.
