Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
I love pretty much everything he does. I listened to lots of jazz this month, old and new, but I'll probably listen to this more going forward.
HM: Chris forsyth and garcia peoples - peoples motel band (live record, jams hard) Vladislav delay with sly and robbie - 500 push up (dub with bleep bloops) Lindstrom and prins thomas - 3 (good downtempo/chill, I think more people around here would (should) like it) Scenes - trapeze (cool jazz; very accessible, melodic; sax and guitar solos with a tight rhythm section. I'm particular about guitar jazz but I like this a lot) The Bug feat. Dis Fig - In Blue (so good. If you like the bug's electronic dub, this is some of his best, imo). King gizz - KG (taking world music influences to psych rock isn't new, but they do it really well here)
I dunno, there's a bunch of good albums this month, imo. garageland we should start posting more in pops' jazz thread. I'd love to keep up with what you're listening to; when the family isn't around I've been digging into adrien younge's jazz is dead series, which I highly recommend (my fave is volume 3; Fred I think you'd like)
