Where you at such a clusterF of a weekend as well? It was fun but quite the adventurous weekend.
Yeah. I picked the wrong time to go to my first festival solo. I straight up fled Sunday night.
The logistics of that place have always made even the dumbest Bonnaroo stuff seem like Disney so I guess there's a silver lining.
Went with my gf and two friends and then met up with another friend and his dad. We got the F out right after RHCP finished! Had a good time except the heat and the $4 waters.
I had a dream a few weeks ago that I was back in college and a friend of mine knew Miley and brought her over to our place and I wouldn't shut up about Britney being the queen of pop. They were afraid it would annoy Miley but she respected it.
They are talking good days/best schedule of bands in the Coachella thread.
What are some of your favorite Bonnaroo days? What artists did you see and in what order?
I think at Roo 2013 I saw something like Local Natives>Grizzly Bear>Wilco>Paul McCartney>The XX>Animal Collective, which was pretty great, but I'm also realizing how white I am typing this out.
I had Local Natives>Passion Pit>Wu Tang>Paul McCartney>The xx>Animal Collective>Pretty Lights until dawn
looking at old schedule trying to piece together my 2013.

I see a giant Tom Petty sized hole in your Sunday night schedule my friend.

I had just seen Tom Petty a few months earlier at Jazzfest. Was a killer show. By Sunday at Roo I was wiped and thought "I'll have plenty of opportunities to see Tom Petty again."

Top of my Roo Regrets list.
my brother saw Mac Miller instead of Radiohead at Osheaga 16 bc they switched his set with Vince and he just stayed there. I told him it was a dumb move because he could see Mac any year. The day Mac died he texted me that I said that and I was stupid for saying it. He still admitted he should’ve seen Radiohead though.

I am absolutely only posting this for pathetic name-dropping purposes, but my Sunday of 2013 went Kacey Musgraves>Macklemore>getting drunk in Bob Saget and David Cross' green room>The National>Tom Petty
I remember in 2014 waiting for John Butler Trio and Bobby Womack basically refused to leave the stage and just kept going. He ended up running way late. It ended up being his last show as he died like a week later. It was almost like he knew it was going to be his last show and just didn’t want it to end.
