If the Superjam is basically a Sylvan Esso WITH show then it's a top 3 anticipated set for me personally.
Is this going to be a blown up version of what they’re touring version was/is? I saw this and immediately went “huh. Well, the Superjam had a good run.” Only because the WITH shtick is their current/most current tour and superjams are not typically.
I haven’t seen it, sounded like it was gonna be great though. Also can’t remember if it already happened, is happening or is about to happen.
how does one use dmt in a public setting? shit is like skydiving in your mind
I can’t figure this out either. Is it real? Are the just puffing low doses? I’ve guided people through full on DMT trips and they were checked out for 10 minutes. I don’t know where they went, but it wasn’t in the same room as I was. In fact, I want to use it in therapy sessions with people some day and I count on it sending them so far out of their minds that we have something to discuss afterwards. If people can just toke on it and dubbie wubbie all over a dance floor, this is not gonna work.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Alright I take it back, after listening there's a few names on Thursday I'd go see. Just no names I recognized at first glance.
Thursday: 99 Neighbors Briston Maroney Ezra Collective Liz Cooper & the Stampede
Friday: Tool Run the Jewels Glass Animals Megan thee Stallion Tipper Brittany Howard Primus Wallows Still Woozy Yola
Saturday: Lizzo Flume Tenacious D (I need to educate myself more but I know they're super talented) King Gizz DaBaby Sylvan Esso Superjam Denzel Curry JID I'd probably check out the Nelly set pending conflicts too.
Sunday: Tame Impala Lana Del Rey Vampire Weekend Orville Peck
Personally it's my favorite lineup of all the years I've been, especially if I can see all 4 of those Sunday sets.
Man this ambient set fucks, can we just open up the Who Stage ln and let the man do a Big Ears-style 12-12 ambient set
It was pretty kick ass. Sunday was the second time I've seen him do ambient. I thought his IDM set this year was the best of the 3, though the last 10 minutes of the downtempo set on Saturday night were balling. My friend Blake (of wake n blake youtube fame) supposedly caught an hour of Saturday's set. Let me see if I can find it. Edit to say he hasn't uploaded it yet. Hopefully he'll have it up this week and I'll post it. In the meantime, just to give you an idea of how different his shows are even at festival sets, ushmel uploaded you the Hulaween 2018 set. The night after was the closeout for Voodoo which took my #1 of the weekend. Skim through some of this to see how different not only the music was but also the visuals. And by the way, he actually scratches in his live DJ sets.

my guess is it’s the superjam format of famous people karaoke but Sylvan esso’s “With” Band is the House band
Don’t think they’d bill it as a superjam if it was just Sylvan Esso

I'm thinking it's going to be mostly that show, with probably some covers and other guests thrown in. And that tour already happened, just 6 shows I believe.
This is from a couple years back and is not the full band they toured with this year, but check out these videos for a taste of Sylvan Esso + WITH.
So without further research here is my breakdown: Thursday - Grand Ole Opry - Sweet Crude (NOLA Band have their CD) - Too Many Zoos
Friday - Tool - Miley - 1975 (if nothing else) - RtJ - Glass Animals - Brittany Howard - Primus - Big Wild - Ganja White Night - PPPP - Turkauz - Still Woozy - Tones & I
Saturday - Lizzo - Oytserhead - Tenacious D - King Gizz - daBaby - Superjam: Sylvan Esso - Kevin Gates - Nelly - Troyboi -Subtronics - Denzel Curry - The Growlers - Mt. Joy
Sunday - Tame - Lana (please conflict with Vampire Weekend) - Leon Bridges - Young Thug - Grace Potter - thejeremy will want to see Flogging Molly probably - The Struts - Caamp - Pinegrove
I will have to dig and I am sure scheduling is going to fuck up some of that.
Thurs: Soak in the vibes Friday: Mdou Moctar - Atlin Gun - Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats - Run the Jewels - Brittany Howard - Tool - Primus... lol good to know what worst case scenario looks like Saturday: Slowthai - Nilufer Yanya - The Marcus King Band - EOB - Mandolin Orange - The Growlers - DaBaby - Jason Isbell - Denzel Curry - Superjam - Lizzo - Oysterhead - King Gizzard Sunday: Bill Frisell - Femi Kuti - Pinegrove - Vampire Weekend - Tame Impala (pit)

This is an inconvenient year for me but if I can figure out how to make it work and get the PTO this festival will be bringing me back to Bonnaroo for the first time since 2014. I can't say no to seeing Tool, Tipper, Tame Impala, Bassnectar, Oyesterhead and Primus on the Farm. And Billy Strings! I need to try to make this happen. I can just imagine I'll probably have half the shows I want to see conflicting though.
Probably doesn't mean much, but last year, all of the acts that were bolded/in color ended up playing a stage (What/Which/the Other) with the exception of Prine (who got moved up on the poster after the initial lineup release).
So something like this?
Friday What: Young the Giant > Glass Animals > Miley Cyrus > Tool > Bassnectar LN Which: Megan Thee Stallion > The 1975 > Run the Jewels LN Other: Tipper
Saturday What: DaBaby > Flume > Lizzo Which: Jason Isbell > Tenacious D Oysterhead > Gizz LN Other: Seven Lions maybe move Tenacious D to the What?
Sunday What: Grace Potter > Leon Bridges > Lana Del Rey > Tame Impala Which: Flogging Molly > Young Thug > Vampire Weekend Other: Rezz
This is a persuasive argument for me.
Also the D probably would be Which Stage now? instead of their last time when they were What Stage mid-day?
But honestly, I haven't figured out how they are gonna plug in all these people who conflict that day.. that's a LOT of potential What Stage acts
