If King Gizz, JID, and the Superjam didn't all conflict on Saturday night that'd be greaaaat. I might have to make my own Clashfinder just so I have hope.

I like it. To echo what people here are saying, I know nothing on Thursday. Not necessarily a bad thing.
Friday does not do much for me. I like RTJ and glass animals but have seen them both a bunch. Tool and Primus would be cool also, but nothing really moves the needle for me there
Saturday is great for me. Not a huge Lizzo fan but I would check it out. If there is a conflict with her or king gizz, the D, Oysterhead, sylvan esso etc. it’s not a big deal. This is a great day of music
Sunday seems very light but I love the idea of seeing vampy weeks and tame impala back to back. That would be awesome
Overall I’d say it’s about on par with last year. Better than 2016-2018. Not as good as anything 2015 or earlier, as is expected these days.
how does one use dmt in a public setting? shit is like skydiving in your mind
I can’t figure this out either. Is it real? Are the just puffing low doses? I’ve guided people through full on DMT trips and they were checked out for 10 minutes. I don’t know where they went, but it wasn’t in the same room as I was. In fact, I want to use it in therapy sessions with people some day and I count on it sending them so far out of their minds that we have something to discuss afterwards. If people can just toke on it and dubbie wubbie all over a dance floor, this is not gonna work.
I feel like this is you telling us that you still want to be there to watch it

I did this just to give a sense of how the lineup would look if not by day so it can be compared better to previous years. This does not include all acts.
what happened with Grace Potter? she was hot shit for a bit there and then i feel like this is the first time i've seen her name in years.
apparently she put out an album in october. her first solo album without the nocturnals was more pop oriented and was forgettable. dunno about the new one.
I wont forget LN in 09 she did a setbreak switcheroo with moe. and I was outside the tent lying in the grass when some woman started belting out this bluesy rock n roll and it was enough to get me off my ass and back in the tent.
I just went through all of Thursday and couldn’t find anything I really dig outside of Liz Cooper which I already knew. Haven’t had that in a long time. Can usually find 3-4.

We saw Big Something last fall do a co-headline show with Aqueous. They were probably a little better than Aqueous that night. They're from Burlington, North Carolina which is in/near the triangle about halfway between Greensboro and Durham. They are sort of a cross between Jam and Alternative Rock and have 6 (I think) members. They host a festival up in North Carolina called *edit* The Big What.
Here's their set from last year's Peach Festival. If you hit about 10-12 spots on the 90 minute line, you can see how they mix it up from straight up rock to jam to funk to alternative to even some folkier inspred stuff.
This is great. Have a DJ hype the crowd for 10-15 minutes. Nelly comes out, does Country Grammar. Does it one more time for good measure. Then everyone leaves happy. 20, 25 minutes tops.

Cool bassist Catherine Popper left the band. Then Grace and the Nocturnals drummer got divorced. (Not sure of it was before or after the band broke up.) She still plays with one of the guitarists, though.
Her first solo album was definitely more of a crossover attempt. Didn't know that she had a new album. I'll have to check it out.
She's still a good performer, though. I kinda hope she ends up in a tent, though. More energy.

New album is mostly a return to the old style, if a bit less intense
Loving the lineup. There's hardly anything missing that I was hoping for. All I can think of is Tycho, everything else that I personally wanted is there.
One thing that I think hasn't gotten the attention that it should is the amount of women that Bonnaroo booked this year. Lizzo gets a headlining slot as we all suspected, but there's also big slots for Miley, Lana, Grace Potter, Rezz, and many more. A lot of festivals struggle with that representation, and Bonnaroo did such a good job with it this year.

It is pretty strange that on a lineup with some of the best jambands/instrumentalists Roo has booked in a while the superjam is just that Sylvan Esso show.
Why not have Sylvan Esso do the WITH show at sunset and have a regular superjam? Seems like the more opportune time for that set anyway and I'd rather not miss them for Gizz
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

They actually did not. Shoutout to BookMoreWomen on Instaram for documenting this for all fests.
This year 25% of the artists on the lineup include women, last year was 26%, 2018 was 24%. Coachella and Bottle Rock are both 36%
