Speaking of stage improvements, I'm curious if the Other is going to be upgraded enough so that it could host big EDM headliners like Flume or Basssnectar.
The field in front of that stage is massive and could probably host the crowds that acts like that attract.
This would be ideal. Really unnecessarily restricts late night options to have a Bassnectar on the Which and then potentially more EDM at the Other.
But it's nice when they book a Zhu or Claude Vonstroke and the rest of us get to enjoy the stage without a bunch of headbanging tweakers.
Yeah I'm thinking it's probably gonna be Flume into Lizzo on What, Oysterhead on Which into Tenacious D LN with Gizz in a tent but I could see Tenacious D being in the day and Gizz LN Which

one of my favorite parts of the Other is the fun day-time house/techno/dancey sets. always such a fun party dancing in the blistering sun with everyone else

Roo needs to make some additions to this year. Idk what they plan to do with where in the woods but that lineup should have atleast a few decent house acts to make the edm level out.

They have all that to go plus the pods/plazas plus Snake N Jake's. I don't ever follow the count, but that's gotta be 40-50 more acts at least. We stumbled upon Zach Deputy playing to nobody in a pod on the way to visit friends at #9 last year. I didn't see his name anywhere though I'm sure he was on some type of schedule with the musically curated pods.
I know Gizz is gaining steam but would they really fill out a late night which set? I guess if the other late night acts are all EDM or hip hop and they are the only rock act that would be the draw. Not that I don’t love Gizz and they aren’t amazing and deserve it I just feel like they would be perfect in a tent
I think they're planning on doing another round of announcements with all of the programming and additions that will be in the campgrounds. They've rightfully been giving that area just as much attention lately, it makes sense that they'd want another round of PR for it apart from the main stage acts.

FWIW Lizzo will probably have a 75 minute set at most so there will be lots of “late night” sets
Could see her getting the childish slot with Oysterhead/Flume on after. Or following last years schedule Flume > Lizzo What, Tenacious D > Oysterhead Which

I think this would be pretty easy for all to do. I don't have a pay spotify but I'd curate it unless having free spotify makes that impossible.

not that i'm aware of. if they do i'm sure bonnaroo will want to advertise that.
it is a gargantuan amount of text to begin with, but the bill frissel and RIL things are also very wordy and clearly spelled out what it is, nelly as well. i feel like its just going to be a standard set length but they will still bring it and not dick around between songs.
If Tipper is playing at the Other then it definitely has to have some quality sound.
aside from the What, The Other is easily the 2nd best stage (sound wise). You can also see the stage clearly from many different angles in that general area.
Can't remember if it was on reddit or twitter, but Bonnaroo responded to someone and they said they will be updating the stage with more lasers, pyrotechnics, and most interestingly, "more production in the area too,". Not sure what exactly the last part means, but sounds interesting.
