Working on my Clashfinder. Where do we think Glass Animals goes? They PACKED a tent on Thursday in 2015, then jumped all the way to pre-HL Which in 2017. But I'd think the pre-HL What slot would go to Miley or The 1975 or RTJ. Right now I have it going to Miley, but still. It's hard to imagine them putting Glass Animals in a LN Tent, so I'm not sure. I'd love for them to put Bassnectar on What, which would open up the Which for GA late night. Or maybe they just put Miley in a tent LN. Thoughts?
Edit: I didn't really even visit the Other stage last year - it's too small for Bassnectar, right?

I don't think any of the top 6 on Friday go in a tent. All have to be too big, especially when you consider that RTJ and maybe GA will be coming off of new albums at that point. I'd say:
What: Glass Animals > Miley > Tool
Which: RTJ > 1975 > Bassnectar
I haven't been since 16 though so I don't how the schedule works as far as bumping acts against each other anymore.

I'm thinking Oysterhead will pre-HL Which in The National slot 9:45-11:00.
Flume > Lizzo on What in the Odesza > Post Malone slot, ending at 12:15.
Tenacious D in the TLI slot 12:30-1:30.
Gizz in at This in the JRAD slot 1:00-3:15.

You could be right. I just feel like King Gizzard is too big and popular to be in a tent. Maybe? Ideally for me Oysterhead gets the extended set and just jams for 3 hours. They’d be fine at This unless people really think it’s going to be a big draw. It’s top 1 or 2 for me the whole fest. I don’t really care that much about Saturday conflict provided I get to see both Tenacious D and Oysterhead. J.I.D and Denzel obviously are important sets for me that day, but those are probably at other times. Kevin Gates is giant down here (he’s from Baton Rouge), but I don’t know how big he is elsewhere. He could play a bigger stage or he or Nelly and maybe DaBaby get night tent shows. Idk. I’ll make every effort to see EOB and if anyone knows what the show might be like, let me know. I’m a fan of his and plan to pay respects. And I’m going to do what I can to see Yaeji.

I think the curveball is if the Other is upgraded enough to accommodate Bassnectar and Flume. Because that space definitely has potential to be huge
As a side note the edge of centeroo looks to have expanded past the disco ball this year, which could further point to them accommodating more people at the other stage

also I don’t think glass animals have moved up at all in terms of where they’d need to be. They’re still billed under rtj and The 1975, and certainly aren’t as popular as the 1975, despite what reddit would have you believe

Yeah, I also feel like Miley's gonna sub even tho that's gonna suck real bad for the camping Tool-fans. It's probably the best for both fandoms to keep them seperated but you never know. I feel like Glass Animals could hold a great LN-set of 90 mins. There doesn't need to be a LN-hiphop act either, right?
In my case, RTJ is only a sub so that neither Miley nor 1975 need to sub. They could probably do LN aswell, yeah.

Does anyone know if you can do the layaway plan when purchasing multiple tickets (and what the down payment is for each ticket)? I’ve always just gotten my own, but this year I’m gonna get 4 to get the free parking pass.

I hope they don't. Not looking forward to sprinting from Tool just to get to the back of an RTJ show.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
The way you have Friday and Saturday laid out would be pretty ideal for me. Feels like they would want RTJ to be later than that, but I hope they do it this way because I've got to be honest with myself - I want to fuckin' party in the USA. It's a guilty pleasure but there's no way it wouldn't be fun. Then I'd also get to see a lil bit of either 1975 or Britanny Howard, all of Tool, Primus, and the end of Turkuas.
Saturday it does feel like they are going to want Nelly to be late night and kind of repeat what Gucci Man did last year. But whatever, I'd still be at Gizzard anyways. Wouldn't mind Oysterhead going a little longer, but beggars can't be choosers. Love that you you have a space between Lizzo ending and King Gizzard starting so I can run over and get as close as possible.
Not being able to pit for Tame because of Vampire would hurt. But that type of stuff always happens at festivals. I would maybe skip VW since I already have fond memories of seeing them in 14, but not really sure.
Overall I'd be pumped if this is how it came out. Being as close as possible for RTJ and Gizz is a huge goal for me and this lets me do that without missing too much.

I originally had Kevin Gates where Denzel Curry is, thinking Gates would be pretty analogous to Gucci Mane, but I didn’t want Denzel and Curry to conflict so I switched ‘em.
