So I know this was like 10 years ago, but I’m still mad about Bonnaroo putting Animal Collective on the ducking What at 3 pm In like 110 degrees. This was during the Merriweather era too. LN made so much sense and they fucking blew it so hard
But they almost totally messed up Umphrey's Mcgee in 2017. They kind of messed up Ween in 2016 too, so that's where my concern comes from. It's not impossible that they drop the ball on this. But I think they've probably learned from those mistakes.
rdk went into the pit for that show. He was not feeling awesome afterwards.
I was also in the pit. I must have looked pretty awful after the show because someone came up to me with their hydration pack and told me to drink as much water as I needed.

Four Tet played a tent at 4pm too. #neverforget
Shabazz Palaces, Action Bronson, Robyn -- All on Sundays.

Lizzo and Flume are interchangeable. Just felt like Tool -> Bass and Lizzo -> Flume would be fun. Ending those days partying. I'm going to make a full mock when I get the time.
Friday is going to be a mess of conflicts no matter what they do, so I've pretty much accepted I'll only get to see a little over half of what I want.
The biggest concern I personally have with the lineup is on Sunday. Unless they go with Lana > VW > Tame on the What, either Lana or VW is going to have to play on the Which. Either of those acts are way too huge for that space. The upgraded stage will be nice, but with those big trees in the middle of that field and other stuff nearby, it's really just not going to be big enough for a space that small.

Honestly, I feel like VW on the Which will work fine crowd-wise. A lot of people like them but I don't think they have some absurd level of popularity.

Exactly. Lana over there might be concerning but VW wouldn’t be any bigger than some prior Sunday Which closers. (Cardi, Travis Scott, The Strokes, the White Stripes)
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Was surprised to hear how much they pay attention to survey results and they mentioned that they pay attention to reddit but didnt mention inforoo. Said Tame Impala was the most requested act via surveys.
I think Inforoo could do a better job of either indirectly or directly trying to get these two humans to know what we like and want leading up to the next year.

Holy shit 2 humans book the entire lineup except they basically have one other dude book the other each year. Thats nuts.
I just started the podcast, that's crazy! They need someone new to curate The Other lol.
I'm going on record mostly opposing that unless they were looking to do one night of some alternative (non big-room crap) that wasn't wimpy or popish. Or they could do something like Pridz or Cox who has more cross-appeal.
We caught pop/house night at Kalliope last year and kept hoping it would end.
