Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
You joke, but that's actually kind of the plan on Thursday. We're working with a number of different groups to hold an event that afternoon at the Groop Plaza. You're more than welcome to be involved if you're interested.
I'm looking forward to our long-standing annual fan-curated micro niche event Friday morning where we can shit on all those other fan-curated micro niche events.

Does anyone have some info on Grand Ole Opry from last year? Like what is it all about and who played?
Be prepared fer it to be super crowded on Thursday now. Like ridiculously so. Like you won’t even get to hear most of the bands you might wanna see. It has gotten past the point of stupid. I love Bonnaroo, but they really need to open up at least the Which fer one or two acts on Thursday now.
What was once one of my favorite days has become one of my least favorite just because there are too many people at the tent shows. And it’s awful.

BTW I think this Primus "announcement" suffices in maybe a more minor way for what I was asking for earlier. Opportunity for me to hit my group chat and keep Roo top of mind.

Was thinking the same thing. Glad Bonnaroo official made an announcement about this. Better than having no update!
I'm actually super disappointed by this news, damn. If their set is 90+minutes it'll be alright though.
a farewell to kings is a short record, 37 minute running time. if they get 90 minutes you'll still get plenty of primus, and the primus songs they do play will be the hits.
plus it will be dope to hear anybody play "Closer To The Heart" at bonnaroo.

The new Tame album was prime for keeping my roo group chat active.

Live though with gaps between songs and potential solo sections it could easily be 50-60 minutes
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
No. Our school year runs int until the end of June. That's why none of the teachers I know here can ever go. (Which now includes my wife.)
Fucking sadists. School shouldn’t go past Memorial Day. I thought MN was weird because they go into the first week of June but the end of June is just cruel. I grew up in SD and we were done by Memorial Day at the latest. Summer was a full 3+ Months.

Eh. They're off all of July and August and then for a week or so in December. They're off for another week right now and another week in April. It's later than when I was in school. I think I graduated on like 6/21 or so.

crazy. I think I graduated HS on May 22nd.
Jaz, you still need ticket sales for street team or are you good? Thinking about pulling the trigger and returning for the first time since 2016.

I'm good actually, but thank you for thinking of me! Sincerely appreciate it. Also come to brunch!

The non cygnus tracks aren't very jammy though, I could see those pushing the time though.
Agree with 3post1jack1 that getting Closer to the Heart is going to be *chefs kiss*

Super disappointed? Damn.
But yeah. You’re getting 90 (or 75/80 minimum).
Yeah, I've never seen Primus but have been listening to them my whole life. Was hoping to see as many of their songs as possible, not just the hits. Rush is cool and all, just not as big of a part of my childhood. If this happens on Which at 3 pm then I'll be there for the whole damn thing, but if it's late night up against some serious competition, I'll probably skip the Rush stuff. Oh well.
Obviously do what you wanna do. There will be tough conflicts. But it’s Top 3 for me going in, and the A Farewell to Kings is icing. We aren’t getting it again, and it will probably be a performance that people will remember and talk about in the future. No chance I’m not seeing it here in New Orleans on May 30th for the advance preview. I’m hoping it only makes me more hyped for the Bonnaroo set. Primus rules no matter what they are playing.
