I’m working out the logistics right now. It’s looking good money wise just need to button up this on the homestead. It won’t be the same as Roo but the Sunday line up of Thundercat>DannyBrrown>FlyLo>Badu looks amazing. Plus Friday and Saturday?! Soooo tempting.

Yeah, I got a bundle of money I have ready to hit the record fair and save a bunch on some recent releases. Flatstock will also be really tempting as usual.
Well I would say this is a concern. Black Midi has had to cancel a few shows and then released this statement today. I mean is it gonna be worth it to come for one show and go back especially if you were just sick? I mean Pitchfork has a really good replacement sitting in their lap if they have to make a change cause Turnstile are at the Metro on the 9th with no show til Sunday and Black Midi is on friday. They did just give them a BNM.
Yesterday Geordie visited a Doctor, was diagnosed with a throat infection and told both to rest and rest his voice. Because of this we have to postpone tonight’s (01/09) show in Bristol. We'll probably need to postpone more shows but this is what we have confirmed so far.
We’re gutted not to be able to play but he’s on the mend and we’ll be firing on all cylinders soon enough. We can also announce the rescheduled Bristol dates:
31/08 - Bristol, Trinity Centre -> 25/09 (Matinee) 01/09 - Bristol, Trinity Centre -> 25/09 (Evening)

Would be pretty bummed if black midi cancelled but I would think this is far enough away that them being sick wouldn't be an issue if they were already planning on making the trip

Saturday:
Waxahatchee > Kim Gordon or Jamila Woods > Angel Olson > St. Vincent > Faye Webster (After Show)

Mariah the Scientist > Caroline Polachek > Yves Tumor or Thundercat > Danny Brown > Flying Lotus or Cat Power > Badu
Excited that Phoebe is at night unlike her Roo set was slated to be. Also love that I can knock out 2 of the biggest schedule conflicts with the two after shows. Biggest remaining conflict would be KLO vs. AnCo, but KLO is probably the top act I'd like to see live now so I probably will catch the majority of her show. It's nice the stages are close so I could potentially still see some of AnCo. Also not a fan of the Yaeji/Big Thief conflict, but I'm definitely leaning BT right now. Also bummed that Caroline Polachek is during the day time, but we are doing OSL so I could always just see her there.

Considering going the Friday. Is there re-entry for people with day passes? Also, how is the crowd in the back during the headliner? Debating on whether it'd be worth to see Big Thief or to go with a better spot for Phoebe.

Re entry only allowed for Plus ticket holders. Do you wanna know if it gets packed or full of people talking? For somebody like Phoebe I dont think its going to be slammed despite the hype surrounding her. Once you Get past the soundboard it starts to loosen up. I suggest to just leave Big Thief in the last 10 mins and walk over to find a decent spot, youll prob be ok. I mean the stages are right across from each other so its not like you wont hear the music while you move. Things will be a bit different since its going to be dark by the middle of Big Thief playing. Normally its still bright and the headliner is playing as dusk.

Biggest discovery of the lineup so far for me is Ela Minus, so of course she's during Fiery Furnaces. KLO vs. AnCo is also rough
These two are my toughest conflicts too. I think I might do a little bit of each, given the proximity of the stages.
Another great thing about this fest. I must have put 20 miles of walking in the two days I went to Lolla. This is such a more relaxed experience. You either are in the area with two main stages, or you walk like a block to go to the Blue stage, which is personally one of my favorite festival stages.
