Weyes Blood is weird because it lines up with Lolla more than Pitchfork. And thats a lot of recent repeats which arent gonna make people buy tickets right away.
Still thinking Lana is a headliner though. And Bikini Kill too. Could they have 3 female headliners finally.

I mean we did come pretty close to an all women or mixed top 6 in 2013 if not for...you know.

Last year was Robyn and Haim lest anyone forget Haim exists. They prob wouldve had all 3 if Bikini Kill didnt take the Riot Fest money.
Yeah, that would make sense. Its a victory lap run so might as well. And she will be arena status next album so itll be easier to get her now than in 2 years.

Kacey could work, although there aren't a ton of other acts like her Pitchfork really seems to be into to be on her day... Lana seems a lot more likely to me (especially with the NFR reception)
Given the size of the tour she'll be on this summer, I'd be shocked if Alanis plays this. Stranger things have happened though
lmao I didn’t even realize Alanis was plying a Tinley date in July already. I was just browsing their most anticipated albums list and thought it was as good a guess as any.
likely: Angel Olsen, Big Thief, DIIV, Perfume Genius, Mount Eerie, Jamila Woods, Caroline Polachek, Polo G, Oso Oso, Lightning Bug
What are these likelihoods based on? Do they have dates that indicate they're in play or is it just hopeful speculation?
Perfume Genius is the only one out of those that’s in the Midwest during the festival dates (aside from, like, Jamila Woods and Polo G living here), but Big Thief and Angel Olsen have some random July US dates in the middle of bigger US summer tours. I’d be shocked if the latter two weren’t there, especially considering Big Thief got two 9+ reviews in the same year.

Weyes Blood opened for Kacey last year for a number of dates

Feel like it needs a random act like The Isley Brothers but that'd be really fun
Lana, Kacey and Kraftwerk would be a nice set of headliners.
I would love this group, but when was the last time Pitchfork didn’t have a black headliner? 2012? (also, to acknowledge the obvious joke: not including GYBE).

Yeah 2012. But the question would be who do they try and pull. Tyler would seem to fit that pretty well and he is headlining mid size fests in the uk this summer.
Lets not forget this is the 15th year so maybe they do stack the line up ala 2015.
Dont think The National would do it since they have their own festival 2 states over and it kinda of draws away slightly. Kinda why they cant get Bon Iver. Pitchfork might even demand a High Violet set out of them.
