Bright Eyes dates have them on the west and east coasts in May/June and Europe in August with nothing in July... they could be possible? (Lucy Dacus and Japanese Breakfast opening could both be in play)
Nick Cave out with a Chicago date in September didn't even know how bad I wanted him until I realized he could've been in play... hoping that Weyes Blood opening for him doesn't have any impact on her viability here
I was hoping when I saw those dates that they were in July and it was just an announcement the day before the drop. At least there could be more acts announcing shows today that will pop up tomorrow.
It’s funny because I actually have been feeling less interested over the past few days - I’m not a big Angel Olsen or Big Thief fan at all and although I like themI don’t feel the strong desire to see RTJ or The National (or really any of the other suggested headliners) at the moment. I think SVE is the only act being floated around that I really have any desire to see. But I’ll be waiting for the lineup to see if there’s any big surprises. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Whoops. I saw the main poster but their website probably changed for the sale. Lucy Dacus is opening for The National so I guess she can be pencilled in.

With The National in play and the other rumors (Angel, Sharon, Lucy, etc.), I am seriously considering this over Homecoming. My Airbnb for that just canceled on me and flights for Pitchfork weekend are surprisingly cheap, so the cosmos may be trying to intervene here.

I like The National and Run the Jewels a lot but I've seen them 4 and 3 times respectively over the past few years. Hoping the 3rd headliner and undercard has some stuff that's a bit more unique
How did it leak though. Phoebe Bridgers ends up being the one that has to do the flying. She is in england on Friday for Latitude. Everything else lines up pretty much.
Still gonna be pissed if Bikini Kill isnt on there in the morning. If you did want to find a flaw its Danny Brown,Tierra Whack, BADBADNOTGOOD and SOPHIE. Feels like filler for filler sake.

I really like that lineup but I've seen a lot of it. What the initial source of the leak?
Also briefly thought Fiery Furnaces were Friendly Fires haha, not sure who The Fiery Furnaces are but I'm digging this top-played track on Spotify a ton

I'd strongly consider attenting that and would totally welcome a Fiery Furnaces reunion. YYY's wouldn't be a mindblowing 3rd headliner (Are they even interested in writing new music anymore?), yet I would see them and have a great time.

How the HELL are any of those acts filler?
Cause #repeats. And im saying it in regards to being fake or real, not if this is what materializes tomorrow morning. The fest has gotten to a point where they arent down to have a line up thats almost all acts that have never played. And its possible to do that and still have a strong bill. Theyre just cool with like Twin Peaks every other year.

This is a very lol take but I don’t think it’s a stretch to say people used to look at them the same way people look at 100gecs now at least musically. Blueberry Boat is a baffling but great listen.
