I mean basically he just confirmed he'd be down for three nights of after-shows, so you're cool.
Alright, I'm in. Flights to Chicago from LA are very reasonable right now, and it's been about a decade since I was last there. Lineup is deep and I've continually missed Cat Power over the years. Good excuse to see some friends there too.
If The National end up doing a High Violet set, I'd imagine they'll wait until after Homecoming to announce that as to not to torpedo sales of their own festival.
On this note- It's also the 15 year anniversary for Alligator. That would be amazing if they tied the 15 year anniversary for Pitchfork in with that. Some gems on that album they rarely play now.
I think I might be in for this. One of my best friends from college who I haven't seen in couple years is pumped on the lineup, and there's a ton to like on there for me too. It seems pretty odd i haven't done P4k before given that it is one of the more catering-to-my-tastes festivals out there, so...better late than never!

Since Bonnaroo sold out on my slow ass, this is increasingly looking like the play for this summer as well. Things could change, but I think my roommate and I might be in for this one

The problem with waiting now is that the price goes up on tickets every couple months. Resale gets tricky because you would have to find somebody that bought a ticket early on and at a lower price. You wont see it drop as much because of it. Sucks that they dont do a payment plan anymore, just 3 payments would be easy enough on anyone. But even as strong as this is, its not gonna sell out for a while. People will wait for Lolla and Riot Fest, especially Riot because its still cheaper than Pitchfork and has double the acts.
Aight, have officially sold Homecoming ticket & cancelled that airbnb so I can do this instead. The timing works better for me and one of my best friends from college is able to join me for Pitchfork but couldn't do Homecoming, so...overall win!
Plus I'm fucking pumped to see Caroline, Sharon, Angel & Phoebe <3 The lady presence is strong here.

Show me on the ticket website exactly where there is a payment plan option for tickets. They havent even advertised it either and they would be pushing that really hard if it was the case. So where are your facts.

Well it looks like they don’t have it anymore, but I know that I didn’t pay $240 all at once. True that they didn’t advertise it, but there was an option to split it into three payments at least until last week.

It's just weird that they did this without advertising it and only for a short period of time.
Easier to just give it all back instead of having to sort out a partial refund to all 5 people who did layaway. Nobody is going to cancel til they are made to do so. Unless the illinois health department advises the governor to make that decision, it’s not happening yet. Illinois has a stay at home order until the end of the month right? It will have to be officially extended until September for them to force the hand of organizers. Til then, nobody will budge.
They have to get forced to or they won’t. Same boat Lolla is in. I mean they posted a pic on their insta this morning and people were asking what the deal was.

it was a bit unprofessional of them to charge that even though it's not gonna happen, but yeah it is what it is.

If she cares about performing to more than 50 people, sure. But even after they sucked off Lana so much they still didnt get her, so who knows. Hope Fiery Furnaces can still be there. Probably part of what theyre working on is trying to get some of these acts to play 2021.
