I would vote in favor of Fiona Apple being active. She has two shows and there is documented reason to believe that there are more to come. It's a grey area, though, and one that I had hoped to close with Prop One.
The reason that I was against Pavement was because they hadn't played in a decade and were reunited for two 30th anniversary shows that are being billed as their only shows of the year. Band members are focused on other projects and I believe are unlikely to reunite in 2021 for a 31st anniversary celebration.
That said, I'm not a ref. (We. Have. No. Ref.) We can discuss and people can voluntarily withdraw their picks or we can challenge and put it to a vote.
Shame we didn't discuss Pavement more further with links etc. (Cause I believe they are active and it should've been polled but whatever) So if the rule of an act still being potentially active during the time frame and there's evidence for that, then Fiona Apple should be allowed. Gotcha.
I think Pavement should be off the table cause by defenition they were picked, scrapped and replaced by another act.
It's also worth considering if scrapping a pick is even allowed. Like if I make a pick and change my mind based on the response it wouldn't be allowed.
If Fiona has announced a tour that *isnt* just two one-off shows, then I think that makes her eligible in a way that Pavement wasn’t. I also don’t think it is fair for anyone to repick pavement now fwiw

If we're saying scrapping a pick makes that pick ineligible, when you pick your pick, you have to stick with it until it is polled.

I agree with this logically, but it's already been done twice this draft and would kinda suck if it just started to apply in my case. Maybe make it a new rule for future drafts?

Scrapping a pick because it gets challenged is different than scrapping because the reception isn’t good. The amount of time if takes for a challenge to happen would make a repick really difficult especially this early in the draft. I think it should be allowed if there’s a risk of a challenge.
