Did you read either link or did you drag up headlines? In the first one, he clearly states he was participating with that group for Bring Your Bible to School Day and rejects hate in any form not having been aware of their shitty anti-gay stances. I'm sure that Focus was probably pushing some nefarious plot and working kids to do so. But if you are a devout Christian who thinks it's a good idea for kids to read the Bible or bring them to school, that's hardly shitty. He apologized and rejected their anti-gay viewpoints which is pretty clear if you got really deep into the story - like all the way to the second sentence. About 10 years ago, he took a pretty big stand against against bullying which sometimes leads to suicides often among gay kids. He worked with one of his best friends, Ellen Degeneres. I'm assuming you knew she was a lesbian.
As for Texas company, Advocare, he probably got paid to be a spokesman (even if he was head U.S.) along with numerous other professional athletes. Maybe they should have done corporate due diligence, but I'm kind of thinking they pay you 'x' amount of money or percentage of sales, you say a few words, and that's the extent of it. I doubt his agent/financial advisor/whoever put him on that dug into their books. You might have missed where Advocare was the sponsor of the Texas Bowl for a few years and has dozens of other paid spokesperson athletes - Patrick Mahomes, Becky Sauerbrunn, Jason Witten, Pat Connaughton, David Toms and on and on.
I think your attempt to promote an agenda that he's in some way not a high character guy falls flat on its face. You tried to work it backwards, but you fucked it up. Maybe if you looked at some of the many causes, charities, one off donations (Texas floods a few years ago), hunger, etc., you would likely have come up with the opposite conclusion.
At the end of the day, he was not in tune with reality and has apologized. Most have accepted, some haven't.

I guess if you limit the capacity down so there's not so many people sitting next to each other, but if you do that how do you determine with the PSL owners? It would be pretty optimistic to go forward with full 70k people together.
Drew’s latest IG post directed at the president about the flag was pretty good imo. Looks like a little introspection and listening worked
Word. He gets a bad rap sometimes but he’s not a bad guy. Same goes for Coach Payton. People want to hate on him like he was Gregg Williams. He paid his dues and while he routinely trolls Goodell and the league, he’s always been a decent guy off the field. He gets emotional on the field and if he thinks you are playing cheap, he’ll call you tf out on the sidelines.

Was pretty worried about the rumors because I thought we'd have to pay a lot and I would've rather just paid Brady. But I mean for 1yr and a maximum 7.5m, and that's either a super bowl or mvp season, that's pretty damn good.
Plus it let's Stidham develop for, and worst case we get a good QB in the draft while hopefully getting to see some great Cam gameplay

Cam Newton in that TNF game last year was one of the most pathetic QB performances I've ever seen. He was missing guys by like 10 yards. So hopefully for the Patriots he's rebounded from that. That said, I wish him and the Patriots nothing but the middle finger.

Thursday night games tend to be awful, so hopefully that's an outlier.
Cam couldn't throw the ball well at all after his injury. All you can hope that he's over that. Carolina didn't think so so they let him go.
eh, idk I think with the Panthers, he wouldn't have taken that kind of deal. They got a discount player instead, and I'm not even sure if he would've wanted to stay since they've slipped out of being a contender. He probably won't be an all star or anything just because the weapons on the pats are garbage but he'll shoulder most of the blame probably

I do think it's pretty sneaky for the Patriots to announce the signing of Cam the same day the punishment for their most recent cheating saga came down.

That's just good PR. They still got punished regardless

Yea it is, I bet there are a ton of NFL fans who didn't even see the blurb about the punishment coming down.
