He had 8 (?) Fgs, maybe 3 were 50+, we were down like 20 pts at half, came back, and lost to Rob in the end. Haynes worth (?) fucked schaubs world up. Idk who the backup was, maybe Rosen. The crowd was insane at the end, half full, full volume, I wasn't sure if they were pumping noise at points but it was super dead in the 3rd.

Maybe not Haynesworth. He had three solo tackles but no sacks, and I don't see any rush attempts for Schaub either. Can't find anything on YouTube. Finnegan had a sack lol and so did Vanden Bosch. Of course, for example, stomping someone's head after the whistle doesn't show up on a statsheet, though.
It was Rosenfels. He had most of the pass attempts. 4 TDs and 3 INTs.
Looks like one 52 yarder and then the next longest was 43. Texans scored five TDs, converted a 2PC, allowed only two TDs. Fair to say Bironas won the Titans that game.

Yeah, it was a roughing the passer situation. From the Texans' website recap:
Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was flagged 15 yards for roughing the passer on the first play from scrimmage. Schaub jogged off the field after team doctors attended to him, and Rosenfels returned to take over the offense at the Texans' 36-yard line. On the first snap, Rosenfels fumbled the ball and linebacker Keith Bulluck recovered at the 34-yard line for a two-yard gain and Houston's third giveaway.
With four seconds before halftime, Bironas kicked his fifth field goal to extend Tennessee's lead to 22-7.
6 total turnovers for the Texans. The defense only allowed 12 points off those, so the Texans still had a chance at the end, but too many opportunities for Bironas. Schaub actually came back in for awhile and then got sidelined again, stayed out for all of the second half. Had injuries to an ankle and hip on opposite legs. Crazy game.

The article actually says it was a Haynesworth sack on the final drive of the first half that led to the hip injury, so maybe pro football reference has their stats wrong.

I remember there was that Cardinals kicker that ran in a fake FG for a TD. That was the most exciting thing I remember from a kicker for fantasy football. Well that and Justin Tuckers game against the Lions, with the game winning 61 yard FG.
I remember a great fantasy moment when I won by 4 points after Brad Johnson threw a pass that deflected back to him. He promptly ran into the end zone for a passing AND receiving TD.
Your kicker is not going to win you games. This is not how you should approach fantasy football.
My kicker was fourth on my team in scoring with 15 points this week.
Interesting. What round did you draft him in?
Gostkowski had 25 points this week and he's rostered in 12% of leagues. That's fairly likely to be the highest kicker score all season. It's basically a game script and even play-to-play crap shoot. And even when the game script favors them like Butker last night, they can still miss. Kickers are basically equivalent to TD-dependent TEs in terms of how easy they are to find and how consistent they are.

Not to go all COVID Truther Coachella Thread Guy on yall estebancdevaney but I just reached Diamond status on Yahoo fantasy football. That's like having a 4.0 GPA.

13, ahead of my fourth RB and fifth WR but after my D.

I didn't even know they had that, as I've only ever gotten to gold. I usually run around the edge of silver and bronze around 600. I had some shitty teams over the years and have been playing a non-PPR league on Yahoo since 2003 (24 teams in 16 years with 3 firsts, 12 team leagues). My better teams have been on ESPN. I actually agree with you and Teddy - but only in a perfect fantasy world. You might see that in 4 figure buy-in games. Ours is like $40.00, so you have a lot of people who don't follow football that closely and consequently, you have to make moves that you'd typically not want to do in order to make up for lost points at the elite spots in the draft if you're not picking in the top 3 or 4. Without going into a psychotic level analysis and multiple years, let's just look at a couple for the less important positions - QB, K, D, TE in 2019.
Per Fantasypros.com (I didn't put in any special filters for bonus for length or PPR or anything, just straight scoring)
Kicker - The difference between Kicker 1 (Butker) and Kicker 12 (Boswell) was an average of 10.4/game down to 7.9, or a difference of 2.5 points a game. Knowing that we all get byes, kickers get injured, and some people will carry a second kicker, take it to 20. That's Jake Elliot and he averaged 6.9 so a difference of 3.5 points per game.
Tight End - Kelce finished first in scoring last year with 157.3 or 9.8/game. Take that down to TE #10 (Goedert) who 86.7 or 5.8/game. At 12 you had Witten at 4.8/game and finally at 20 was Ryan Griffin who scored an average of 4.9/game (less total points due to games played). 1 to 10 was 4 points per game, 1 to 20 was 5.
QB - Lamar Jackson led everyone last year with an average of 28.11. Watson was 22.13. That's 1 to 2. Brady was at #12 and averaged 12 points less a game than Jackson.
Defense - Patriots dominated this category last year averaging 14.8 points per game. They forced a lot of turnovers and had that run of games with Pick 6's. So that makes sense. Next closest to them was Pittsburgh at 10.8 so a difference of 4 points per game between 1st and 2nd. If you take it down to 10th, Tampa averaged 8.4. That's 6.4ppg. If you take it to 20, the Bears averaged 6.0 which is a difference of 8.8 points per game.
That was my whole point about the post a few weeks ago that got brought back up last night. IF you are drafting late in a large league (12, 14, 16 teams), then you might need to adjust strategy to compensate for missing out on big play players like McCaffrey, Kamara, Henry, Jones or Michael Thomas. Thomas averaged 14.1/game and the only WR close to him was Godwin at 13.6. Mike Evans was the only other player over 12/points per game. At RB, McCaffrey was 3.8 points per game ahead of Henry and 5.1 over Dalvin Cook.

I wish ESPN would do this. I only do 1 or 2 yahoo's a year, with the rest of mine (6 or 7 usually) on ESPN.
Gotta think my yahoo fantasy baseball score is about to go up, since I won 2 leagues and finished 2nd in another. 3 out of 4 ain't bad!
Thunderdome pretty dead for me this year, everyone I touch gets injured. the Jordan Reed thing was hilarious. Just waiting for Diggs to die now.

I saw some notes today for a mock for the free league, the 14 team league, where I drafted first, and if I had that team it would be absolutely devastated right now. CMC, Godwin, Sutton, Mack all on there. Waller TE. Brady QB. Best players would be Gurley, Chark and Antonio Gibson. Luck is a huge factor, honestly the most important.
I've been Platinum level for awhile and maybe hovering between Platinum and Gold because I got the "you've reached Platinum!" note a lot but I've never reached Diamond before.
