Well this says a lot to me. You're going to let Jaz be the decisive vote? So yours would be pointless?
Can someone make an updated tally?
I’m so confused what you’re trying to achieve here.
Jaz doesn't have to switch his vote to secure surviving if you stay where you are.
With you stating that now already, that makes me seem like you're protecting Jaz or trying to kill of MD.
If you'd vote for MD, this round is over at that point and there's no action for Jaz to make anymore.
Why would you make a decision before Jaz does? Or are you both hoping no one will take action and this round is over nevertheless. Thus making me the decider.
Like stated before, I don't mind being the decider, I learn more from that than anything else.

1. Im not protecting jaz, I was literally about to switch to him before pablo.
2. After your move, mad dog is guaranteed to die no matter what I do. Assuming no switches.
3. I’m not waiting to make a decision until Jaz. I’m flat out not going to move period. If you let mad dog die that’s on you - not me.

Why are we even talking anymore if the round is over? I don't understand why I have to explain myself for wanting this round to be over. Also don't understand why you guys are questioning my actions to kill off someone.
Teddy, Rummy, Silver, Jortles. Are you guys changing your vote to protect MD or not?

I'm having a little trouble following along here for some reason.
Manders: Are you saying that, with how the tally was sitting, you were going to be the deciding vote anyways on Day 5? Jaz would vote MD, Dan would Tie it up and you would vote MD for the final decision? So you are speeding up the process?

Why does this matter?
There's no way to guarantee town to know if they are killing mafia or town.
Also, you switching your vote to MD would make it more difficult to save him if others switch their votes. Thus learning who'd protect him.

I just got done switching to MD and explaining that he is the person I'm most at peace with voting for. I'd prefer to not switch back right away, though I would consider doing that before the deadline so we can see who Dan chooses next round.

Well I don't understand the point in stalling.
I'm aiming to learn the most after the first night and see who mafia kills off.
Saying that I'm the decisive vote is also pointless. There's still 4 people who can come in and change their vote to protect MD.
Danbob is the only one that can make the absolute decider if he changes his vote.
Jaz would always vote for MD or stay where he is if that switch isn't needed.

You’re playing paranoid. You accuse me of protecting Jaz, and now you want to see who will protect mad dog. Who are you suspicious of?
What does it matter that I tell you in this round who I'm suspicious of? I want everyone to make up their own mind as you can't know who mafia this soon in the game.
There's too many people making switches that it's pointless. Unless (like I did), a switch is forced or ignored.

It matters because right now you’re shooting in all directions. It just doesn’t feel like you have a solid grasp on what you’re trying to achieve. You have essentially killed mad dog, then you’re attacking me for some reason.

How am I shooting in all directions? Why are you making me look like I don't know what I'm doing?
Why are you upset about me killing MD.
As town I would not be upset that I have killed another town this early in the game. Someone is gonna be killed and chances are way more high that that person is town anyway.
If I'm doing it to force someone else to switch, there's a goal in mind. So how is it that I don't have a solid grasp and shooting in all directions?

It just seems like you'd want to maybe wait Dan out and see which way he went. Even if he voted for Jaz, you could still kill Maddog. You're moving to give yourself, and the rest of us, less information.

How? Explain?
You would've wanted us to wait on each other? Someone has to take action, and I don't mind.

This is a perfect example of why you should wait to tell your an until day 2.
I think manders has a good point in that forcing someone to move will provide more insight. It is generally known that mafia will vote for their own day 1. Hell, potentpotables and I literally killed off our teammate day 1 when we were mafia together. That is kind of what I was trying to do when I was switching around from person to person. It's also why I highlighted that two people moved off maddog in this round. I think that's totally important to note.
However, as I pointed to earlier, theories need to be kept to oneself before round 2. Now that mafia knows what you want to see they just won't do it. They now know your exact plan and can move accordingly.
Mafia does poorly when they have no power. If you keep the game exactly the same every time then they will know exactly how to avoid it.
I think it's fair to say that almost any switch going forward, at least the ones potentially coming off of maddog are completely moot.
Even a whack becomes essentially pointless now because now you can't even really compare the upcoming data of maddog either being saved or killed to who was whacked.
Once mafia knows what you're doing it just becomes insanely circular and pointless

I’m not upset I’m disappointed lol. You’re trying to get more information, which I understand and appreciate. However, your move took away any information you could possible get from me - if I vote Jaz, Jaz votes mad dog and he dies. If I vote mad dog, the result is still the same. If I stay, mad dog still dies. The only information you get is if someone else switches to save mad dog.
You haven’t forced me to switch, you made me switching or staying both have the same end result. So therefore, I’m not moving.
Also saying you don’t have a grasp was too harsh of words from me. We just are not seeing eye to eye right now.
