I don't think it's a double standard because (1) D2 is unique in that, with 9 voters, it's possible to have a 3 way standoff, and (2) I was a bit drunk.
I don't see any use in having a 4 way runoff going down to 3 on D2 specifically. So instead of dropping two people out at once, I am inviting someone else to make a move to give us a runoff. It seems like nobody care enough about Jortles to do that.

For you specifically, you are playing more quiet and controlled, which isn't your usual style. Have you ever been mafia before? My sense is you haven't and are playing differently this game.

This is sort of confusing to me though...speaking hypothetically if Jortles *is* Mafia, why would one of his mafia buddies "rush in to save him" when all that he needs to do in order to avoid being lynched outright is merely switching his vote over to either you or me? It would be pretty dumb for one of his compadres to do that "rush-in" instead of allowing Jortles to just switch over himself, since everyone would expect him to do so

Yeah can't say I understand why on Teddy's graphic you were put in "chaos" range whereas Potent was ranked highly in "order."

The rational play, to me, is for a runoff that allows another round of votes - on D2, I don't think there's much difference between 3 and 4, since they both end up whittling down to 2 (unless the 3 way doesn't resolve itself, which is another conversation), so while Jortles may or may not have moved, someone else should have had interest in moving to make a 3 way runoff. I decided not to have a revote, since I was accused on D1 of setting myself up for a revote, which I didn't do (and proved) but is one reason that Kanye is currently voting for me, which is why I voted before the end of D2R1.
If nobody moves again, there's nothing stopping me from going back to Teddy (or Jaz/Manders/Pablo) before 4pm. I was just trying to get a jump start on it.

I guess an interesting thought is... Do we want to essentially skip round 1 and get it down to two with three revoters at this point? It does kind of feel similar to what Manders was trying to accomplish. Except I don't really believe / clearly understand what Potent is working towards here. But just looking at it... we had Myself, Rummy, Kanye and Potent as the four. Traditionally, we would have ran out the clock and needed to get it down to the final three with switches after the one revote. But we could just get this down to 3 before 4 pm and save ourselves a day or real time. At this point, it seems like that would be a little rushed, but it could be nice to consider in the future.
I've made it clear that Kanye, Rummy and Potent are my three main suspects with Jaz as a fourth... so no matter how this plays out from here through the next round, I'm good with it

Your first unnecessary move was on D1R3 I think when it was 3-3-3 with two revotes. You jumped the gun and switched before a revote. I also didn't care that much. I commented on it because that's a thing one does. I don't think it helped the town but whatever.
Your second unnecessary move was when it was 6-5 and you went bill in the goal of taking a null vote. I think that's against the spirit of the rules and I said so.
My move was when it was 2-2-2-2 when I would be the revoter. Instead of waiting until 4:01 today I tried to get the party started a little earlier.
Do you honestly not see a difference there? You were an unnecessary actor in both situations, I was a necessary actor in this situation. If you don't see the difference, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
