Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
sang_xcx was just saying the other day that he's up early every morning. Is he one of those weirdos that doesn't check his draft thread first thing in the morning?
So, since we have some down-time before the next pick (Cap'n Mac being up and all), and so no gets blindsided, I'm gonna drop this here..
I'm planning on doing the Bonnaroo version of this in between the other annual drafts. May or may not be directly after the Infinity.
It's going to follow the original concept I had, which mainly means
1) 1-to-1 draft slots to years of Roo, including this year's lineup, whether it happens or not. So that would be 19 draft slots if it started after Infinity, or 20 slots if we waited for 2021's lineup and started sometime next year
and
2) every artist is eligible for every year they performed. They don't necessarily have to play the same stage or similar time slot. They don't have to play an identical setlist, but theoretically they'd be somewhat limited to their catalog when they played
Also, I'm gonna try to decide what the best way to do an auction is. What comes to mind is multiple stages of accumulating 10 or 15 acts. Probably two stages to make a total of 20 or 30 acts. It will probably be a slow auction, so I don't think it needs to be a ton of picks, otherwise it would take too long. We could also do it live over the course of a couple three-ish hour sessions.
There won't be a master list.
Winners of this current draft, the Infinity Draft, and, if we wait to get to 20 lineups, the next active-artists Roo draft will get priority for sign-up. The other slots, I'm not sure yet.
Anyway, that's my plan. What do yall think?
Also, if anyone hasn't seen this thread, I'm gonna start finalizing the schedule tomorrow, so hit me in the DMs with any final submissions for the weekend:

Edit: Good morning!
I'm at work.
I don't understand your point. Isn't that the place where it's easiest to focus on the draft?
Ya I don’t think “people who think gluten free pizza is good also like Janelle Monae” lands as a compliment
Pizza (overrated as shit in general) just isn't nearly as good in the food world as Prince is in the music world.
I mean, I get that you're in Florida and probably only have access to shitty pizza (as have I in some of the places that I've lived) but you must have traveled in your life. Pizza can be very good.
